01/8/2013 09:49 | Good summary, I would normally buy on a forward p/e of 14 for this type of stock with growth but then I've missed some real quality winners by this, however, as you say, this has been usually down to high yielders. | philo124
01/8/2013 09:47 | year expectations remain unchanged. so this fall is overdone IMHO. | melody9999
01/8/2013 09:41 | I bought in a couple of months ago - good company and prospects - but sold out yesterday after I belatedly realised I had paid too much for the stock. The PE is set for a high growth company, but growth, whilst still good, is slowing down. If you stumbled on this company for the first time and found a PE of 12, would you be surprised? The dividend is too meagre to offer much support. I suspect going forwards the business will continue to grow, and the PE decline, leaving the price more or less static. | danieldruff2
01/8/2013 09:39 | still on forward p/e 16.8, back to what I paid for them on a bad day; should have bought more so I had a worthwhile sale at £18.20. | philo124

01/8/2013 09:24 | SP at 1660p is the only same as it was on June 10th. It's tempting to buy a few; will wait a bit to see at what level it stabilises. | yorkie123
01/8/2013 09:16 | Thinking about adding more but quite a fancy p/e in absence of much sign of growth in profits in near future. Anyone else tempted to buy on the sell-off? | tompion

03/7/2013 08:20 | Aggreko (AGK.L, 1,698p) - Buy Yesterday, Aggreko announced that two of its gas-fired power plants in Africa with an aggregate capacity of 220 megawatts (MW) had been brought on-line. On 1st July, additional generation up to 100 MW was commissioned at Vridi plant in Côte d'Ivoire, bringing the total capacity to 200 MW. On 15th June, a 122 MW gas-fired plant was commissioned at Ressano Garcia in Mozambique, taking the total capacity to over 230 MW. With the Vridi plant and Mozambique plant coming on-line, Aggreko now has 1,000 MW of gas-fired power plants capacity. Our view: Aggreko's £300m investment in gas-powered technology is likely to bear fruit soon. The commencement of 220 MW of aggregate capacity at Vridi plant and the Mozambique plant would contribute to higher revenue generation in the second half of the year. The additional capacity at Ressano Garcia in Mozambique holds special importance, since it is the second phase of the world's first cross-border interim power plant. The 122 MW capacity added here would be used to supply electricity to the Namibian state utility, NamPower (90 MW) and to the Mozambican electricity supply utility, EDM (32 MW). The electricity generation capacity at Ressano Garcia is shared between Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique. Aggreko's association with the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), which links the power grids across 9 South African countries, enables it to closely collaborate with others member nations to supply reliable power matching the growing demand. Separately, securing of large orders for the new Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO) engine also works in favour of Aggreko. In light of the above factors and the strong presence of the company in emerging markets, we maintain our Buy for the stock. | aspers

15/6/2013 05:52 | Or it's speculation and, if wrong, a big drop! I bought a few days at 1623p when the market dropped sharply - usual dilemma - do I take a quick profit pre-update or risk dropping back to 1600 if update disappoints. Will almost certainly get it wrong! | tompion |
