21/4/2017 19:50 | Not sure if anyone reads this any more, but there's an intriguing news item on the NEX Exchange site: *AFRICAN POTASH LIMITED* ('African Potash' or the 'Company') *Temporary Suspension* African Potash announces that, on 11 April 2017, the Company signed a Letter of Intent ('LOI') in connection with the proposed acquisition by the Company of Onshore Energy Limited ('OEL'), a private investment company that invests in unquoted companies (the 'Acquisition'). If completed, the Acquisition would constitute a Reverse Takeover under the NEX Exchange Growth Market Rules for Issuers, requiring, amongst other things, approval by the Company's shareholders. The Acquisition would also constitute a related party transaction as Chris Cleverly, Executive Chairman, of the Company is also a director and shareholder of OEL. In order to progress the Acquisition and provide African Potash with working capital required to maintain its existing operations, the Company is required to raise additional funds. These funds are material in the context of the Company and its current financial position. Accordingly, African Potash has requested that trading in the Company's shares be suspended pending a further announcement. Such an announcement will be made as soon as practicable. | blomers

30/12/2016 16:34 | Oh dear, and as I mentioned name Mo the ago, this loan facility from the 'financial directors wife' is very worrying for shareholders, as it's mounting up.At some point, Could she (they) call it in and take the company from you.??Pretty poor going that they slotted these two very poor updates into the very last day of the year, and also did it out of hours......Cleverly trying to hide it from the markets eyes.(see what I did there, lol). | apfindley
30/12/2016 16:27 | Ouch thats a shiiite update.Heavy losses.Lower than expected revenue.2.6 mill of liabilities still.Cash was 0.3mill in June. And now they've had to cancel some agreements as they weren't viable. Also having to try and seek farm in partners... Clearly showing afpo cannot go it alone as they are desperate for cash.Great big steaming pile of poo . | apfindley

07/12/2016 11:10 | Sickening to see the losses Cleverly has caused genuine investors and as we know not for the first time. Whilst we all recognise AIM has its risks it should not be so easily available to people like Cleverly. He is either a crook knowing full well what he was doing here or an incompetent who should never have been running the company in the first place....I made my mind up a while back. | marvelman |
