If the directors have failed to fall below a certain standard then they have personal liability. Some of them probably have quite deep pockets, including Timis of course...

Because until Deloitte reports to the Insolvency Service, the Company is not officially wound up. And since Deloitte is pursuing at least one legal avenue in relation to SISG, it looks unlikely to be case closed anytime soon.

I believe negotiations are continuing with Shandong, so to say definitively that there will be nothing left for shareholders is premature. It does however remain by far the most likely scenario.

from the Administrators 12 May 2015.. Shareholders As detailed on page 4, the shares in AML were publically traded until November 2014. The Joint Administrators are not obliged to provide further information or reports to shareholders of AML, however regular updates may be uploaded to the Companies’ website www.africanminerals.com and on the statutory website set up for the administration at www.deloitte.com/uk/africanminerals. For the avoidance of doubt, based on current information it appears unlikely that there will be any funds available for shareholders.

29 May 2015 the proposals were approved. Nothing left for shareholders.

Administrators will never lose money. All of the assets were taken by the Chinese. Recovery of zero unfortunately is correct.

Administrators conclusion: 'it appears unlikely that there will be any funds available for shareholders'

the admin bill up to 30 April 2015 is an average of £710 per hour!

AMI - 12 May 2015 Administrators update...
Shareholders: 'For the avoidance of doubt, based on current information it appears unlikely that there will be any funds available for shareholders.'

Another stock to add to the collection of admin/bankrupt/delisted stocks this year so far.

Sapper - If you are one of the Action Group that has paid a deposit against possible litigation fees, you need to send an email to: amipic@outlook.com, including a screenshot of your holding that incorporates your name, the name of your broker, the number of shares you held at suspension date and the total loss on those, and only those shares, assuming zero value. You will then receive details of how to access the BB.
If you are not part of that Action Group, the only places that AMI is being discussed in public, or where you might glean info are here on ADVFN, on discussthemarket: hxxps://www.discussthemarket.com/company/ami/stream/1/, or with the administrator, Deloitte: hxxp://www.deloitte-insolvencies.co.uk/

The Bod don't care. They will take other work and all this will be swept under the carpet. Another AIM disaster.

Trouble is shareholders are always last to hear the bad news and not really involved in the day to day business or asked to vote on decisions made by the board unless they are doing a rights issue to raise more cash!
