12/3/2015 13:44 | Cattles is big money proper money, with less than a hundred shareholders - forget it. The other thing to note, it all comes down to the chance of success: we got to get to that stage. I think a settlement out of court would do us no harm, ie. get the money at a decent price per share but thats only on the premise the chinese come in on the 11th hour to avoid skeletons coming out. Chat more on the Private Board :) | cantrememberthis2
12/3/2015 13:37 | If we get cattle lawyers we might stand a better chance. | gazza102
12/3/2015 13:27 | I'm pinning my hopes on more legally knowledgeable shareholders who have looked at this and deemed it worth pursuing...my broker was fairly negative although he was basing this on past successes (failures!) and admittedly has little knowledge of this particular case. fn | fishyneck
12/3/2015 12:46 | The odds must be better than the odds of most AIM shares doing well. Who knows, if this does go ahead perhaps they'll even go for a settlement to avoid many a can of worms being opened. | casual47
12/3/2015 11:31 | I'm registered on the private board and pledged my shares and contribution to legal costs. As this board is a bit quieter I'll pitch this question here. Does anyone have a gut feeling for the chances of success with any legal approach or is it too early to say? fn. | fishyneck
11/3/2015 20:36 | Just got in touch with a friend who has a small amount and wasn't aware of the current legal action because he never reads the blogs. (I wrongly assumed he did and he was shocked)It makes me wonder how many shareholders aren't aware and how do we contact them?FSA email notification to all UK Stockbrokers to send to all AMI holders maybe? | seanywauny
10/3/2015 21:00 | Newsletter thanks i have signed up but not received email yet. Going to print screen holdings | kirk 6
10/3/2015 17:04 | Sapper -- which broker is that? | casual47
10/3/2015 17:02 | I have already spoken to my broker. They have converted my shares to certificates and it cost me a tenner. The good thing is that the shares are now removed from my online account and are not there mocking me every time I log on. | sapper2476
10/3/2015 14:33 | newswseller - I'm holding spreadbets here. I sent an email to the Hotmail site showing my £/point. I'll have to clarify with IG where I stand regarding shareholder action, then get back to you. | earnestwipplethwaiteiii
10/3/2015 14:12 | Grant is getting bombarded with emails so it's impossible for him to keep track of everything, so we've agreed I'll sort out the holdings part and the forum | newswseller
10/3/2015 14:01 | Casual it'll be one that you can raise when everyone is still on the other board... TDW still show my CNT shares from years ago that were suspended and went into admin | newswseller
10/3/2015 11:30 | Earnest, yes, it's a rather important point! Newseller -- Once a legal team has been selected can you get that question directed to them? Regarding shareholders who have their shares in a nominee account (I imagine 99% of us). See the suggestion from Barclays Stockbrokers in sending me a letter on headed paper stating my holding -- do we all need this? Is it sufficient/legal enough to then be used to claim, should there be money to claim? | casual47
10/3/2015 11:25 | Newseller -- actually what I unchecked was this: "Show my name in the online signature list" -- so I don't think it should have any impact. We can test it -- can you post on here when something ought to have happened and I will check whether I received the email? There are still people who say this: "All remember to e-mail Grant at amipic@outlook.com to get involved with legal action." Is that still valid or is the ipetition route the only valid route? There were a few mixed messages recently so some people may have sent an email to Grant and thought "that's that" -- they may not have been reading the bulletin boards since. | casual47
10/3/2015 11:24 | casual - that's really a question for your bank - or better, for a lawyer. | earnestwipplethwaiteiii |
