14/11/2014 12:14 | ernst exactly but all i am saying if news is very good they will wipe away a substantial amount of paper profit so why they willing to hold hold hold for lower prices fine while they can control the price? but if we do get the Taylor Wimpey, Thomas Cook et al type recovery they will have regretted being so greedy? | ![]() warwick69
14/11/2014 12:03 | warwick - first, I've always been very sceptical of published figures for shorts. Second, it may well be true that there are some, even many, shorts still open, but they could as well have been opened at £2, £1, whatever figure that gives them the leisure to close with a still-tidy profit. We are not talking PIs who covet every farthing here, but hedgers who deal in volume. They clearly cannot exit when a half day's volume, such as today, is only 1.5m shares, without radically affecting the share price | ![]() earnestwipplethwaiteiii
14/11/2014 11:57 | casual - quite so, you may have a few, but 8m shares? | ![]() earnestwipplethwaiteiii
14/11/2014 11:57 | ernstwhistle i am referring to existing known declared shorts as per the FCA declaration of over 0.5% of company sghort positions they have not changed for many months so they will have to cover at some point to pay back the borrowed shares? I am sure they trade in and out of those positions without declaration to the FCA.... | ![]() warwick69
14/11/2014 11:52 | Earnest, if you get traders going long and who are only looking for a couple % then why not also some going short for a couple of %? | ![]() casual47
14/11/2014 11:43 | Sorry but I don't believe this ongoing narrative about shorts. At this level (and 9p earlier this week) I simply don't credit that there's any percentage in it for them. | ![]() earnestwipplethwaiteiii
14/11/2014 11:36 | moving up on no buying thats new!!!! what if shorts start covering where to then?? we saw what happened on Wednesday this can move very very quickly shorts do need volume to cover 8 million minimum not including any CFD or other derivatives used.... | ![]() warwick69
14/11/2014 11:29 | the order book is seriously thin on the offer 1,528,000 buy orders only 448,000 sell orders. | ![]() kirk 6
14/11/2014 11:22 | Agreed making share price predictions is crazy and totally uneducated. However saying that think we are still on for the 20-30p range shortly as the seller is cleared and the order book is looking very strong. | ![]() kirk 6
14/11/2014 11:19 | Agreed. Making share price predictions, in any direction, is foolish/intentionall Doing it without anything to back it up is not only worthless to anyone but utterly foolish/cretinous. Karma, are you a fool or a cretin? I can forgive the first. | ![]() casual47
14/11/2014 10:58 | Worthless is it,mr newcomer?Dont think so. | ![]() karmastuartra

14/11/2014 08:58 | SL - I think that's right.Other point is - if it doesn't happen, the size of the assets should offer downside protection. They mention a part disposal of the project to complete funding. They got $1.5bn for 25% just a few years ago. I accept there is no way they will achieve anything like that price now - but it does illustrate a potential route that would require no dilution at this low valuation. | ![]() wigwammer
14/11/2014 08:58 | Time for the robot to appear having bought at the bottom again;)) | ![]() scottie01

14/11/2014 08:48 | Make sure the debt is manageable, reduce costs to increase margin and hope IO prices improve...simples! This share is a 6 month hold from here, achieve the above and those fortunate to be loading up here will make money. Not that complicated really :-) stuart. | ![]() stuart little
