   African Eagle ("African Eagle" or the "Company") (AIM: AFE; AltX: AEA) 
is pleased to announce that, further to the announcement released on 2 
July 2013 in respect of the proposed disposal of substantially all of 
its subsidiaries, assets and liabilities to Blackdown Resources (UK) 
Limited, the Company will today post the Circular to Shareholders 
including information on the Disposal and details of the proposed 
Investing Policy, and convening the General Meeting. 
 
   The General Meeting will be held at 9.30 a.m. on Monday, 22 July 2013 at 
the offices of Mayer Brown International LLP, 201 Bishopsgate, London, 
EC2M 3AF and the Circular will shortly be available for download on the 
Company's website at www.africaneagle.co.uk.
