08/10/2010 12:48 | euclid- thanks | mclellan
08/10/2010 12:45 | Actually it is 3 cents. Approx $3M in cash divided by approx 100M shares. | euclid
08/10/2010 12:42 | euclid- thanks. Did you say 3p of the BE value is cash? | mclellan
08/10/2010 12:40 | The mkt is telling us that AFD's share price is underpriced. Current share price for LUC is 87c mid 0.8 x 87 = 69.6c Todays exchange rate for C$ is 0.6166 so the deal share price for AFD = 43p Botswana Exploration value is extra. | euclid
08/10/2010 12:38 | mustard - are you posting to yourself?? | teemore
08/10/2010 12:30 | Who is going to guarantee you 52p when the deal is done? On the other hand, if it had been cash your 52p would be as good as cash in the bank! | pat mustard irl
08/10/2010 12:27 | VikramArahaji - 8 Oct'10 - 11:47 - 13698 of 13701 We are at over 20% discount to offer price. Surely only an idiot would sell out now. In theory it should be the time to buy and get some capital appreciation instantly once the deal has come to fruition. Buy at say sub 40p and once shares in LUC are transferred etc the new holding including BE is worth 52p approx. Looks simple on paper. .................... Paper being the operative word! The paper value will be worth 52p but the market is already telling you that is over priced!! | pat mustard irl
08/10/2010 12:19 | That must be right Arf. In a takeover the buyer takes over the assets and the liabilities. lol | euclid
08/10/2010 12:09 | euclid, I guess Lucara will have to pay themselves back the value of the loan plus interest! | arf dysg
