Even though I am not as happy as I was I will vote to accept. Looking on a positive note if any of the other projects that we retain turns out to be another AK6 we could be minted.

This deal is done so like it or lump it. You're just getting fluffed if you believe Directors telling you there is another 'potential' bid. Anyway I'm going to hang in there because I believe in the medium term it's actually not a bad deal and Lucara will do a good a job.

She said I was making it up when I said an all paper deal was done and dusted at c60p. She said I was lying. She said she was sure Teeling wouldn't settle for such a low bid.

What I have just found out. There was an earlier bid but at a much lower price. It was c40p cash for everything. So AFD holders got c40p/share and nothing else. That was the best in terms of a cash offer. This was rejected and eventually they came up with the an all paper offer in the present form, and leaving the non AK6 stuff still in the hands of AFD shareholders.

There isn't going to be a counter offer from elsewhere. The deal is done.

I must admit that after thinking about this for 24 hours now I am not as enthusiastic about the deal as I was. It seems unlikely that there will be any counter bids as I feel LUC will have been the last one into the frame and obviously they did not have much if anything to beat. Sad really but only time will tell.

Well, I'm waiting for the next development. I don't think this is done and dusted,by any means.If there are 'other suitors' they may well be having a laugh at this low bid.
