04/10/2010 11:33 | It was probably also a question BEFORE the approach was announced ie when it was just a RUMOUR. Such a time commitment for Reddish Tinge...he just seems to deramp on AFD and PET | mclellan
04/10/2010 11:31 | "What bid" is a question, thus an evasive reply. | tanelorn
04/10/2010 11:27 | Is that the same JC that told Rainfall.... "what bid"... when rumours were abound that an approach and offer was bid (at around 40p). Why did JC say "what bid" when it was known that an offer was made ? | reddish tinge
04/10/2010 11:25 | rainfall- it is from JC! | mclellan
04/10/2010 11:23 | This counter bid stuff always pops up when an offer is recommended. Holders come out with the same sort of comments that another offer will be made by another party etc etc. The reality is, it doesnt, and the deal is concluded. It's a done deal. No counter bid will come. | reddish tinge
04/10/2010 11:19 | There could be a counter bid but unlikely imo. Almost certainly a done deal as usual. | devil20
04/10/2010 11:15 | Cheers Arf. | vikramarahaji
04/10/2010 11:14 | mc youpost like jc emails | rainfall
04/10/2010 11:14 | Yes I hand it to wf for being both accurate and lucid unlike rainfall who appears naive and uneducated and thats being polite. | vikramarahaji
04/10/2010 11:13 | VikramArahaji (13227) "What is share price of lucara please is it still around 90p?" Maybe you mean 90 cents (Canadian). Surely you've seen the TSX:LUC share-price graph at the top of this thread? It's the little graph just underneath the big graph. The little graph is entitled "TSX:LUC". The last price shown on the graph is 90c. | arf dysg
04/10/2010 11:12 | rainfall- I am not in the habit of inventing things. | mclellan
04/10/2010 11:11 | well no real surprises here. all makes sense to me. i would not be at all surprised to see a counter bid followed by LUC upping their bid and then that will be that. 100% ak6 ownership, 75% mothae. sounds good to me. the c | the_curmudgeon
04/10/2010 11:11 | so who in afd board gave out insider info .because yes wirr was correct in most parts | rainfall
04/10/2010 11:10 | wirral has been closer than anyone else. He said, if I remember rightly that it would be paper between 50 and 60p. Dead rifght. Well done. Still a good buy at these pirces. aimho. | yarisverso
04/10/2010 11:06 | rainfall.....wirrall has been far closer reality than your inane drivel. i think there could be a counter bid.......others ARE interested........ | chapchip
04/10/2010 11:02 | ((0.87 / 1.612 ) * 0.8) + 0.07 = 0.50p or if luc rises to CAN$1.00 = 0.56p or if luc falls to CAN$0.75 = 0.44p | tanelorn
04/10/2010 10:54 | What is share price of lucara please is it still around 90p? | vikramarahaji
04/10/2010 10:51 | jt said many months ago thay afd had nothing but ak06. | rainfall
04/10/2010 10:41 | I sold out last week as you know because it was all dragging on too long. The underlying feeling for me was 'the market knows best'. And so it did yet again. Us PIs thrown a few crumbs while the Co gets their 'emoluments'. Long term LUC should do well, but too long for me. Best of luck to anyone staying for the ride. | devil20
04/10/2010 10:40 | AFD values the Botswana Exploration assets at 7p per share. that a additive to the 49p so its a 56p as we stand at the moment. Plus JT has invested a large amount in Lucara now, and effectively does no work for the mine to come to fruition. He like us are sitting back and waiting for the profit to come in now. A definite hold for the future. Botswana Exploration is going to be the new AFD with the exploration assets remaining. | richvandam1
04/10/2010 10:36 | mclean can you give me a copy please also:- r.j.dale@ncl.ac.uk | richvandam1 |
