31/8/2016 15:35 | bjf exactly I dont see any reason to use AFC over any PEM provider. I keep hoping to see some kind of rational justification but so far none yet. I have held AFC and traded them so am looking for a sound reason to invest or trade some of the profits they gave me | ![]() tonsil
31/8/2016 15:16 | Why would the chlor-alkali industry use AFC, PEMFC, seems the way forward. | ![]() bjfanc
31/8/2016 14:25 | bz It is what I thought; if they gathered the waste by product and sold it in cylinders to go with the 10KW that might have made sense 20 years ago; Israeli Chinese process with very efficient catalyst releases i molecule of H2 for two photons; Clean H2 for under US$ 2.5 /KG. That is cheaper than what it would cost to bottle a by produced H2 QED. They might bottle the H2 and use it to float RTW's boats in the kiddies pool. | ![]() norbus
31/8/2016 13:53 | NB....Not sure there plans for 10Kw FC, maybe in Far East, Thailand, Korea; they really do not have a clue where the market is for FC... IMO. When you look at the amount of Hydrogen produced from chlorine production its vast and this would need a major FC of 100's Mw, which as I stated before the Kore system is far too small and would need huge numbers just to cope with chlor-alkali Industry. There are still design issues IMO.... Plenty of hydrogen out there.....AFC need to really get something reliable and efficient to market as soon as possible, money running out.... | ![]() beeezzz

30/8/2016 19:44 | Have AFC ever given any idea of costings. Plenty of MOU's... FD has found something more interesting to do, I'm guessing. | ![]() bjfanc
30/8/2016 17:17 | NB....It all comes down to cost IMO.... Only area I see for AFC is chlor-alkali Industry where huge amounts of waste hydrogen is produced, not all waste mind, as much is used in the fertiliser industry...Been here to long NB...not see much return on my investment...YET!! | ![]() beeezzz
30/8/2016 15:33 | This weekend I've mainly been researching alternative energy sources. An interesting article in money week regarding Saudi oil which is ultimately going to collapse. The Sun being our greatest energy source, together with the collapse in price of solar panels are making a major comeback in USA, China and other sunnier parts of the world, you can't get much greener than solar....One main economic factor as oil consumption reduces so will the price, to a point where it is uneconomical to get out of the ground, there will be energy wars, new against old.. Sheffield Uni has invented spray on solar panels being launched next year, this will further drive the costs downwards making far more cost effective. Obviously you need a certain amount of sunlight. The report also mentioned step change in battery technology where in future consumer homes will be able to store energy. Which begs the question has AFC and hydrogen energy missed the boat, have they taken too long in bring a viable product to market. Technology never stands still, and if you don't get yours to market fast enough it is just history. "If the extraterrestrial solar radiation is 1367 watts per square meter (the value when the Earth–Sun distance is 1 astronomical unit), then the direct sunlight at Earth's surface when the Sun is at the zenith is about 1050 W/m², but the total amount " | ![]() beeezzz

28/8/2016 13:36 | Aim is news driven and we will have 13 RNSs by the end of the year . When AFC become commercial this year - things will never ever be the same again . Numpty will have to deramp another share then (lol) .The next 4 months will be transformational for the share price and for the company IMHO . | ride the wave 1
27/8/2016 09:39 | Howl in your dreamsNot even a sniff of commercial contracts. I suggest you sell your holding and invest in ITM. AFC has been a good share to buy low and sell on the hype-top. I've done it twice. But it's time to move on. | ![]() tonsil
