Great news for all listed and unlisted UK companies, especially growth companies.
.
.
"King’s Speech: Pension schemes to be merged into ‘superfunds’ under Labour shake-up"
.
AFC Energy is at the beginning of it's growth curve now that sales are rolling out to Speedy Hire and TAMGO are actively promoting AFC Energy Hydrogen Generator systems. AFC Energy is sure to get the attention of more ii's as it progresses with Speedy Hire, TAMGO, Acciona, ABB and more, and as the Ammonia Cracker gains strategic partners ahead of sales next year. Perfect timing by the Government once the legislation is voted through. The smart money should start flowing in well ahead of the Pension Funds being forced to pile in.
.
"A dearth of investment from the sector has been a bugbear of those in the City, who claim more of the trillions of pounds of pension cash should be put to work in British companies. Over the past 20 years, pension funds’ holding of the UK’s stock market has cratered from around 39 per cent to four per cent."
.
"Speaking with City A.M. last week, the boss of FTSE 100 asset manager Schroders, Peter Harrison, called on Reeves to accelerate more consolidation in the sector to revive investment in the stock market and private companies."
.
"Her plans fall in step with those of Tory predecessor, Jeremy Hunt, who threatened “further action” against pension schemes that were not backing more British equities. Hunt also corralled ten of the UK’s top pension money managers to commit to investing five per cent of their assets to growth."

Maybe Haggis can answer this one?.

From interim Results 29/6/22, it mentions ABB will pay £1M when AFC deliver 100kW system.

"Commercial Highlights
· First commercial order of S Series liquid cooled fuel cell system received from ABB worth up to £4m

o High power density system

o Initially to be configured for EV charging use in grid constrained environments

o System design contemplates other applications especially maritime and data centres

o £2m non-refundable deposit received from ABB (revenue recognition upon milestone achievement)

o Next milestone payment of £1 million due upon delivery of initial 100kW unit scheduled for this year"

According to an RNS dated 29/03/23 AFC did achieve some acceptable performance of a 100kW unit.

"The validation saw the successful delivery of over 100kW of cumulative net power output from the stacks, exceeding contracted targets, and positions AFC Energy well as it enters into the next phase with ABB E-mobility to deliver on a modular hydrogen fueled, zero emission 200kW hydrogen power generator this year".

Why were AFC never paid the £1M promised by ABB?.

Or maybe they want to get as much good news out at time of announcement, who knows.!

It does look like AFC are taking it to the wire with the 1/2 year results announcement.

Why would that be?.
-If the results were good, they would want to announce early wouldn't they to get the news out there.
-Possible auditor issues with the ABB deferred payments terms and definitions.
- Maybe one the BOD is on holiday that's delaying sign off of the results.
Answers on a post card.

TAMGO are already offering AFC systems at 10kW, 20kW, 30kW, 40kW, 50kW, 100kW, 200kW, 300kW, 400kW and 500kW.
.
No waiting for any 'development' of systems, contrary to the disinformation propaganda from the trolls on this site, the modules are commercial systems with assigned model numbers and can be combined to make any of the systems listed by TAMGO, all the way up to 500kW, all available with the option of custom battery storage. TAMGO are commercially advertising them and no doubt building up an even bigger pipeline of sales ahead of a big order and agreement for mass assembly by themselves.

And as per the news item today, hinting at what is coming soon:
.
"The bank expects positive developments from the Speedy Hire Solutions JV in the near term but sees the bigger prize in penetrating larger markets like the Middle East through the distribution agreement with TAMGO. This could significantly uplift current forecasts."
.
And:
.
"AFC Energy has identified a lucrative niche with its H-Power generators, which are fuelled by hydrogen and capable of providing between 10kW and 500kW of electricity. These modular units, easily transportable by road, offer a compelling alternative to traditional diesel generators. Unlike other units of this type, AFC’s technology can utilise hydrogen from alternative sources such as ammonia and methanol."
