You wouldn't want to bank on this project for future sales of FC generators.

@Haggis,
I assume you have looked at what products ICL actually do produce?.

hxxps://www.icgl.co.uk/products/

Isn't it a little odd that they don't produce Hydrogen or Ammonia?.

A great presentation a the Capital Markets Event today, they must have been REALLY impressed!
.

.
My picks from the presentation and a few thoughts:

"Strong customer interest with first generators expected to hit sites this month."
"Speedy "Delighted to be in partnership with Adam and the AFC Energy team"

TAMGO customers include Aramco, NEOM and other Saudi mega projects
Target to deliver in-country manufacturing to support regional demand

"No intention to become mainstream hydrogen logistics business"

That is another reason why I think the Ammonia Cracker has been specifically setup as a separate business, so it can be floated off of sold for a few hundred million to an Ammonia producer, Electrolyser manufacturer, big oil major, or someone like that, it makes no sense to make it a separate business if AFC are going to pursue it themselves. If they are not going to pursue Hydrogen Logistics, I see no logic to them pursuing an Ammonia Cracking business either, as that would also involve Ammonia Logistics. I just can't see AFC wanting to be involved in the logistics for the following, that is the realm of a massive global corporation that has all the infrastructure already in place:

Potential Markets for an Ammonia Cracker
Rail
Truck stops
Tube Trailers
Construction
Grid Support
Maritime
Mining
Excavation
Asphalt
Grain Drying
Steel
Steam Generation
.
Then we see ICL are already on it and are big enough to pay a fortune for that side of the business:
.
"ICL clearly see the opportunity around the Hydrogen market for both their own use and for the supply of Ammonia and Hydrogen to others"
"The AFC Energy Ammonia Cracker is central to utilising Hydrogen at our manufacturing sites and developing the customer market for ICL"
.
"Great to have Benedikt Eska on board, very impressive CV."
.
"Illuming’s network includes stack manufacturers with significant production capacity."
"AFC Energy is one Illuming Power’s fastest scaling customers"
"AFC Energy’s Hydrogen Power generator components represent a significant opportunity comparable to mobility applications"
.
AFC facility:
"Investment in the current facility completed last year"
"Big enough footprint to house entire organisation for baseline output with room to grow"
.
"Outlook
2024’s focus is on delivery!
We have put in place the foundation to facilitate:
routes to market with Tier 1 partners
H-Power Generator deployments to the field from this month
technology validation through satisfactory factory acceptance tests
links to international component and manufacturing partners
growth in production capacity both internal and external to support growth
Addressable markets offer rapid access through policy and regulation with sizeable growth potential
Blue sky value from ammonia cracking which the Board believes is not reflected in today’s share price"
.
I said that AFC would tell them in no uncertain terms that the Ammonia Cracker was worth GBPxxxm 'way more than the MCap of the company'. The last line above from the presentation would have been explained by the presenter. They even brought in ICL to make the point even more clearly.

Presentation from yesterday is now on the AFC website.

Excellent material. One of the posters on LSE tells that their partner was at the event, that it was very well attended and the material was very well received.

Give it a few days as the II machines grind and we will see the impacts.

@Jimmynan,
It suits your blinkered vision to push the narrative of me not being a shareholder.

It can't possibly be that a shareholder that has seen the value of the company deteriorate over the past 3-4 years by @80%, and we are all supposed to be happy about that..

Sorry Pal, I cannot support that delusional view.
As you are such a staunch shareholder but can't be bothered to show up at the AGM, which tbh is possibly a positive to all other attendees. Having an angry little man like you effing and jeffing is such relief.

One of their partners has 11k employees, 1 pressing the start button and 10999 packing the fuel cells hopefully ?

The irony..lol
Perhaps someone should tell AFC about automation.
They have 114 persons generating £200k of revenue.
Yet 9 Fred's at Illuming Power Inc generate £2.4M in revenue.
AFC really could do with some coaching then..

It's 2024 soppy... they will have what's called automation so they will only need one Fred to press the start button and 8 Fred's to put the thousands of cells into a shipping container... do you still occupy a world of soldering irons and hand held screwdrivers... no wonder you got the sack you sad thick tosspot

The beating heart of AFC fuel cell system, the cell itself..
Are we all confident AFC have done their DD on this company?. lol.

Quite clearly AFC are not expecting a barrage of orders, this company is clearly not setup for mass manufacturing with only 9 working Fred's.

Illuming Power have 12 employees including 3 Directors.
OK so that's 9 Fred's in the shed then.
It's good to know the future of my investment is in safe hands.
You really couldn't make it up..

@jimmynan,
You really do have poop for brains.
You are too busy being angry with the world to see what the real problems are with AFC.
May I suggest you open your eyes and look a little further than what AB tells you.
Go onto google maps/earth and look at the address of the "leading edge fuel cell manufacturer" that you are being told by AB.
1030 E. Cordova St. etc...
Tell me that is not a "Fred in a Shed" operation.
We are not talking Ballard here are we.
Please come back with some response on this.
