If anyone is short on AFC they deserve what is coming e.g. a big loss.

Short is only 2.21 percent and is irrelevant, as the price is rising despite it being there. Demand is not being held back by it and it's not big enough to affect the price.

did a jump a few minutes ago and unable to buy or sell even 1000 shares. I would be surprised if the short positions are still open after today.

Nearer 2 mill buys now and a few profit takes. Running at nearly 3-1 on the buy side. Would like to see this type of movement for the next couple of weeks at least, then we might get closer to it's true value. As the way the world is starting to push green energy, this should be nearer a £1

This is precisely why the AFC Energy broker consensus target of 80p is absolutely relevant to shareholders and investors:
.
24m 15s on the video:
.
"And I think if you look at that, that gives you a revenue, which is sort of going to hit our analyst consensus"
.

.
If AFC Energy revenues hit the analyst consensus this year, then the consensus valuation of 80p per share has to be seen by investors as where the prevailing share price should end up this year.
.
If AFC Energy outperform as I believe they will, by way of progress and sales to TAMGO / Acciona and others, and strategic partnership and investment into the Ammonia Cracker (which is not in the Broker valuations or targets), and big outsourced mass manufacturing agreements signed, and EU distributor agreement signed, then the Peel Hunt 125p target comes right into view.

Once that short is closed it will really take off, I feel it is still having a negative affect on share price and investors investing...

I don't think matters what a diesel generator costs, it will be running costs that count...

If AFC was a volcano, the lava would be spewing in readiness for the big eruption.

The smoke signal from the Vatican is ready to puff.

The good days are ready to roll, 10-40 bagger is not unrealistic over the next 12 months in my view.

This relentless flow of great news, plus AFC Energy courting ii's / Fund Managers / HNW / UHNW inviting them to visit HQ and see the products / facilities / production / laboratories / etc, visiting potential manufacturers to get outsourced mass manufacturing up and running ASAP, the addition of the Ammonia Cracker that could be a company maker on it's own, deliveries starting to Speedy with the first unit being featured at the huge Speedy Expo 2024 for thousands of construction leaders to see it, TAMGO order on the cards soon (suggested AB on video), delivery to Acciona and ABB soon, all these things must be really galling for Helikon sat on a 16.5m shares short (only 2.21% so not having any effect on the price) at an average of around 12p is a loss on paper for them right now of £3,300,000 (if they have to pay 20p to buy back the short).
.
They have not reduced at all today. They are combining their short positions, so what they are losing here they are making up for on the others. Keep the BEAR SQUEEZE going I say, force them out at as big a loss on AFC as possible!!
.
The number before the date is the percentage of stock they are short by.
