Posted at 21/11/2024 15:45 by yellowf123 Genuine investor YES.Concerned. Very much so. I have written off the losses in my investment here as unrecoverable. And I will continue the journey with AFC where ever it takes us, but I'm serious about steering away other investors to put money into this company until it has proven it's worthy of it. Come on AFC, how many more years do you need?. Getting on for 5 years years now the famous AB quote "50 qualified leads", "have paid consultants to advise on how to inform the market". Dixon's famous order book analogy and hockey stick predictions, its all smoke and mirrors. AFC show us you are worthy of investment. |
Posted at 21/11/2024 13:18 by yellowf123 AFC the gift that keep giving..Investor sentiment totally shot with all the lines and deceit from past years. Honestly ask yourself why would you invest here at this time?. The last cohort of investors in at 15p have been butchered, by taking a 40% haircut already. The latest fluff is all about Ammonia Cracking, I would very much adopt a wait and see approach if I were you. If they secure some orders and partnerships then consider investing, but don't be speculative when so many times in the past AFC have dramatically failed to deliver. |
Posted at 20/11/2024 09:27 by yellowf123 Thanks Jimmynan,But I think I will ride this one out, I can see the obvious benefits I bring to this BB. Informing would be investors that not all is as Rosie as "halfpenny & haggis" would like you to believe. Have a great day all genuine investors we need some luck with this one.. |

Posted at 10/10/2024 08:00 by yellowf123 Correct investors are kept in the dark.We don't know what those 100+ workers whose salaries we are paying for are doing. We trusted the BOD to act on behalf of investors in the way they conduct this company. Do you believe they have done that?. |
Posted at 10/10/2024 07:32 by yellowf123 The next cash raise is going to be uber painful for existing investors. Why did AB only raise £13M last time?. Is it an amount he thought he could get away with without being fired?. Didn't quite work out for him did it. As its clear AFC are 2-3 years away from a volume of sales that would be meaningful, the £13M was never going to be enough. The last swath of investors that bought in at 15p, with the expectation of making a quick buck must feel miffed now. Longer term investors have got used to big losses. I would like to know what those 100+ people are doing in that factory?. |
Posted at 09/10/2024 18:36 by beeezzz Investors are rightly nervous, no knowing what will come out of 30th Budget, seems like plenty of sellers, not many risking investing. If Chancellor make investing simply unaffordable we could see a major sell off... China markets are also in big downturn knock on effects for whole financial system.. If Labour want companies to thrive they need to give investors incentives for risking their money, which would give companies the time and money to succeed at the moment there is none. |
Posted at 20/9/2024 10:15 by grabster Rob - this is an investors' website. The company has been losing money hand over fist. An operating loss of £20m last year needs to be bettered this year - (If what AFC told us ahead of 2024 is true, it will be of course - no panic). I guess most investors here are hoping (and believing) that 2023 was just another low point in the company's history and it will go from strength to strength once it pulls out of this latest dive. If it doesn't it's just another crash among the many. I've been following the hydrogen saga for 60 years. There have been more losers than winners - hence the big pinch of sceptical salt with which I view each exciting change of direction that a company announces. ;-) |
Posted at 28/3/2024 12:05 by haggismchaggis "we do know from discussion with industry, that the value of that Cracker, IS WELL IN EXCESS OF THE CURRENT MARKET CAP OF AFC ENERGY". . Here you go with some of the video transcript. Adam Bond did not rejects a sale of the Ammonia Cracker, and from what he's said it is clearly one of the options they are looking at. . His analogy about understanding the generator replacing vs an Ammonia Cracker is undoubtedly directed at the shareholders and investors lack of understanding of the value of the Ammonia Cracker, which explains why, if it is worth well in excess of the AFC market cap, that AFC say the company is undervalued. . From 50m 46s on the video: . "In the results regarding the Ammonia Cracker you say that 'we are reviewing options to capitalise on this unrealised value', do the options include a sale of the part of the business, or what other options are there" . "There are lots of options, and this is probably not the right forum to talk about those options in public" . "What we are very much aware of is, when we speak to investors, whether it's a private investor or whether it's an institutional investor or whether its a strategic investor, everyone understands the concept of displacing a diesel generator with something that is green, and provides functionally the same outcome. So that's an easy sell if you like, or an easy proposition to understand" . "Once we start talking about Ammonia Crackers and the role that it plays, those who are producing large amounts of Ammonia, those who are looking to consume large amounts of Hydrogen, those who are au fait with the global trade of Hydrogen, will tend to understand the opportunities around the Ammonia Cracker technology, and, were we a private company, we would see a very different valuation being attached to the technology than if we are part of a bigger public company" . "So there are opportunities that we can look at to try and drive value into a Cracker business which is clearly a little bit more early stage in terms of it's, not only development of technology but also its deployment, and how you value that, we are obviously privy to some of those opportunities and the scale of those opportunities, but most of that we can't talk about without giving away some form of confidentiality or maybe even intellectual property around the application and use cases of the Ammonia Cracker." . "So it's difficult to quantify a market value in the company, however, we do know from discussion with industry, that the value of that Cracker, IS WELL IN EXCESS OF THE CURRENT MARKET CAP OF AFC ENERGY" . "So, when we look at it in that light, you've got to say well, there's got to be something we can do to create value in that technology, which is not currently seen in the share price, and these are the options that we're looking at and evaluating as a board, as a management team, and you know, at the right time we'll sort of, advise on we've concluded" . .
