Posted at 05/11/2024 16:51 by clocktower LOL tiwas, not if you read the old USG thread you will see:Just as a taster: And note nico115 was not me he was refering too, it was another investor. "nico11531 Jan '20 - 11:06 - 500 of 509 Still hope this goes to zero Can’t believe you are willing to forgive his behaviour towards you What he did to me was inexcusable He’s a v v lucky bloke ..especially after shafting me If he leaves the board I’m not averse to buying some shares here" |
Posted at 05/11/2024 10:55 by tiswas No disrespect David but like many others I have listened to numerous presentations from the management. They did the rounds last time and got the share price over 100p but look where we are now. They tell a great story but undid a lot of the godwill with that crazy first half and now have to start delivering on the huge potential they claim exists out there. I would actually go as far as to say they want to stop selling the story to investors until they can deliver earnings growth and proper forecasts that they are prepared to hang their hat on. |
Posted at 05/11/2024 10:26 by davidosh tiswas...Well the good news is that they are coming to meet investors at the Mello anniversary show in Derby later this month so a good opportunity to ask all these questions. |
Posted at 30/4/2024 10:30 by boffster I'll draw up some 'Buzzword Bingo' sheets for the next investor presentation! |
Posted at 04/4/2024 06:26 by rivaldo Good to see the Non-Exec Chairman spending around £33k on more shares at 64.87p - he now has 20.39% of AEO:In addition, on Tuesday Jonathan Curry declared that his position has increased to 3.78%, or 361,000 shares. And thirdly, Alan Charlton declared that he'd also been buying and increased to 4.21%, or 401,130 shares. He's a long-term investor in AEO who's interviewed the CEO at Mello. This is inaddition to the recent other non-exec director share buy. It would seem that insiders and those who know the company pretty well are happy to be topping up their already large holdings at these levels. |
Posted at 25/3/2024 08:20 by nico115 I'm also not buying .I was waiting for these figs to see what cash balance is.I don't trust the numbers if I'm honest and when at Mellow the Ceo and Cfo gave me two different figs hence why I bought in so small here (was looking to buy on these figures )The cash figure is all important here so not having any idea what it is I won't be investing further .Hope we double as have a friend with a decent holding -he is an amazing investor . Hopefully he makes a lot of money here like he usually does . But for me I'm looking elsewhere to invest . |
