AEC Education (AEC, 25.5p, £10.89m) Interims to June 2009 saw revenues rise 21% to £3.2m (£2.65m) with pre-tax profits up 31%to £0.40m (£0.31m) and EPS up to 1.3p (1.2p) and generated cash of some £0.5m which, together with a cash raise of £1.63m, led to net cash balances rising from 30.98 to £3.15m, Since the period end the group executed its plan to acquire a UK base to address the opportunity for its foreign students coming to London as part of their education with the acquisition of Malvern House. Forecasts for £1.2m pre-tax profits with 2.3p EPS to December 2009 followed by £1.7m and 2.6p respectively put the group on a 11.1x prospective PER falling to 9.8x in the following year, the shares remain good value and we raise the target price to 31.5p. BUY

Could be some short term weakness because the focus will be on the headline figures.

But when you consider that shares in issue have increased to 43m (nearly double) increasing net cash to £3.15m (£0.98m) and EPS still increased to 1.3p (1.2p) The growth story is very much in place.

Results are inline with broker estimates and there is nothing unexpected in the RNS other than they see good prospects - I hold and will continue to do so until full year results at least

At last managed to get another 7000 which moved it up .5 roll on results.

Trying to buy a few more on line,no chance so placed small top up at best.

If results are as good as we think this should rocket again if not there
will be a major shortage of shares for new buyers wanting to get on board.

Full year results will include six months turnover and profits from Malvern
House so looking forward to them being a lot higher.

Well still waiting, begining to wonder if this is the correct date. The date was showing on TDW site, I have looked at AEC website, but can't see any info on the site. Tried to E Mail them but the link seems broken.

Any one have any ideas to the reporting date.

abbey8 - you may be interested in Digital Looks section that someone pointed out to me recently. Go to their site Research / Company Diary. There you can see coming results for all listed companies - starting at current week you can go foward to see all companies announcing results in 3 or 4 weeks time.

for individual companies enter the epic, select the share if necessary, then hit Financials / Key Dates to see results dates - though they may be historic.
