Patience is a virtue! AEA Technology Plc will survive and prosper. It's very much a long term HOLD. It has had its bad days for sure but now is showing a slow admittedly but nevertheles a systematic turnround. From acorns grow oak trees. Growth industry, growth markets, and basically a sound company. That's my opinion.

It just goes to show how things can turn around.I had £1,600 in MTT at an average of 6 and they have had a nice little run today.I've obviously chucked the big chunk in the wrong outfit.lol.

Anything could happen with this stock.It won't be 3-5 years that's for sure.More than likely 3-5 months but something could easily happen in 3-5 days.That's the joy or not with stocks,you just don't know what's around the corner.Huge deal,merger,takeover,etc.

Susie I think the 3 year plan was more for the bank/pension company to tell you the truth, although he did not say.I must admit he sounded like a very confident person and I got the impression he would of been happy to stay at the helm if asked.

Well, as I've said before i ain't here for a fast buck – i've got poker or the casino for that – 3 to 5 years seems a good medium to longer term investment, and the economy might have sorted itself out by then as well, lol. It would just be good to hear this via the horse's mouth so to speak... not wanting to wish life away but roll on April...

I had spoken to the company last week and was told by the man himself that he is working on a 3 year plan,(which apparently is what all large compannies should do,)to me that is a good sign as he obviously sees a way forward.
He was obviously very restricted to what he good say but certainly didn't seem to be anxious of the current share price.
I said to him about comments made on the web sites and he just said I can't advise you how to invest but there has been a lot of scaremongering with this stock and if the gilt market changed just 1% it would make £100 million difference to us.All a bit above me but he seemed a very pleasant chap.

I've read everywhere that he has a brain, but it would just be good to have a little insight as to his plans to turn this lot around. It's just the silence – always the scariest thing, in film, in life and from the bod of any stock! Come April and he'll have been there 6 months – is it unreasonable to expect to be made aware of his changes to date and plans for the future for AAT?

Nick,I think that would of been the case with that useless prat ex-ceo that we had but this new one seems to possess a brain and will make the numbers stack up.Fingers crossed.
