               Advance Visual Communications Plc (the "Company")

                             Holding(s) in Company



The Company was notified on 25 June 2003 on behalf of the Friends Provident
group of companies ("Friends Provident") that, following the sale on 24 June
2003 of 3,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares"), various
direct and indirect subsidiaries of Friends Provident are interested in
15,344,055 Shares, representing 9.5 per cent. of the issued ordinary share
capital of the Company.



The Shares are held as follows:

Both of the above holdings are registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited.
ISIS Asset Management plc, as the parent company of both The AIM Trust and The
