Take a look at ACV, a cash shell looking for a RTO. Market cap £0.2m and an absolute bargain.
Stephen Barclay and John Shaw became directors in 2005 and took a 29.9% stake in the company for £75k.

The same Stephen Barclay and John Shaw who have been directors of various other AIM cash shells, all of which have managed to discover investment opportunities before any deadline.
EAM being the latest, formally RMR.
DGT formally CFP is another that springs to mind, now more than double it's RTO price.
These guys deliver and ACV will be next.
Stick it on your monitor and DYOR.

RESPONSE...........................................................

JUST MAKE SURE YOU GUYS READ THE LAST SENTENCE BEFORE LISTENING TO TWADDEL CHOPS
Stephen Barclay was a director of Revelation Piccadilly Holdings plc and certain
of its wholly owned subsidiaries, namely: The Leading Edge Holdings Limited; The
Leading Edge (Retail) Limited; Haydons Limited; Travel Accessories Limited;
Housemasters (West London) Limited; and RPH Services Limited (together the '
Revelation Group') which went into administrative receivership in March 1999.
The directors of Revelation Piccadilly Holdings plc estimated the deficiency as
regards secured creditors of the Revelation Group to be approximately #2.9
million and unsecured creditors of the Revelation Group to total approximately
#5.5 million. In addition, Bank of Scotland will be entitled to submit a
significant unsecured claim against each company in the Revelation Group. The
administrative receiver's report indicates that there are no funds available for
distribution to unsecured creditors.
In addition, Stephen Barclay was a director of Cobworth Limited which went into
creditors' voluntary liquidation in 1978 with a deficit to creditors of some
#78,000. He was a director of Clarcon Limited which went into creditors'
voluntary liquidation in August 2003 with a deficit to creditors of #975,000.
He was a director of FD Realisations plc (formerly Fish plc) in January 2002
which went into administrative receivership in July 2002. The directors of Fish
plc estimated the deficiency as regards secured creditors to be approximately
#10.5 million and as regards unsecured creditors of approximately #3.5 million.
In addition, Barclays Bank will be entitled to submit a significant unsecured
claim against each company in the Fish Group. The administrative receiver's
report indicates that there are no funds available for distribution to unsecured
creditors.

Like i said whatever you might think of the directors they know how to work the market and the only way the'll get their cash back is to find a RTO.

dell- I agree, TA is largely irrelevant to shares like this, but I like to see the long-term chart at least, sometimes it helps with a bit of "perspective".

3-0 stick a tenner on it.
Spreads not too bad on these, you can buy @ 0.1p

Wiganer - cheers.

Do you find charts actually have any use for illiquid microcaps, beyond possible support/resistance?

I have to admit that I'm an accounts bore, so charts don't really do much for me.......

I set up lots of threads as an aide memoire for stocks I think might be worth looking into further; usually such stocks lack charts and/or news, so I have to set up a new thread.
A lot, like this one fall into the "speccy punt" category. Usually I decide against punting on such stocks due to the hideous spread.

tony- good to see a fellow latics mon- feel free to post on my latics thread (EPIC: PIE). Hopefully see you at the City match- 3-2 to the Latics!

It's about as cheap as they come and though some would consider some of its directors to be of dubious character, they wouldn't throw away 75 grand. The only way to get their cash back is to find a RTO and the hour is getting short.

Wiganer - I've noticed that you seem to have started quite a few threads, lately.
What's your criteria for choosing the ones that you select?
