30/4/2007 08:43 | From an all time low share price we get this Trading Update AdEPT a leading independent provider of telecommunications services for landline calls, line rental, and broadband, announces a trading update post its financial year end on 31 March 2007. For the 12 months to 31 March 2007, the Company expects total revenues and EBITDA to be ahead of expectations and Profits before Tax to be well ahead. AdEPT remains in a good position to continue to act as a consolidator of the highly fragmented fixed line reseller market, which is estimated to contain almost 1,000 small service providers. There therefore remains considerable scope for AdEPT to grow organically and through acquisition, and the current pipeline of acquisitions remains strong. The Company continues to target fixed line resellers as well as opportunities in the broadband and mobile space. During 2006, the telecommunications sector experienced a period of increased competition particularly as a result of free broadband offers and packaging of fixed line with mobile. AdEPT has responded with the launch of a national business grade broadband offering with speeds of up to 8mb (or in some cases up to 24mb dependent on network availability). The market environment has improved from last year and this, together with a greater focus on customer service has led to a decrease in the level of customer churn. From August to March customer churn has reduced by 1/3. AdEPT looks forward to further updating the market at the time of preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2007, in early July 2007. Roger Wilson, Chairman of AdEPT, said, "Our product offering is broadening from our core focus on fixed line with our successful broadband offer and we are looking at opportunities in the mobile sector. Discussions are continuing with a number of potential acquisition targets which we believe could be successfully incorporated within the AdEPT business model and generate significant shareholder value. Taken together AdEPT is in a good position to continue to expand." | ok,yah
30/4/2007 08:29 | Moving up with almost every buy. I like the bit about the profits. For the 12 months to 31 March 2007, the Company expects total revenues and EBITDA to be ahead of expectations and Profits before Tax to be well ahead | billbyrne
30/4/2007 08:16 | been watching quite intently since last year. My brother knows Ian Fishwick very well along with Chris, his brother and from what I hear the company is trading quite briskly. The Fishwicks are all from Wigan so how could they possibly not succeed! Thats a lovely little turny-uppy there on that chart Wanna see the full figures though..no access to privilege info. 03/4/2007 16:04 | broker forecast for this year 6.6p of EPS, so on 5.75x, appears cheap. But after 3.6p of EPS in H1, it implies only 3p in H2, ie the business is contracting. Which is pretty poor given the acquisitions made. It should at least be growing. Forecast next year is for flat EPS. MAybe the numbers are low to allow beating, but given the warning in November, i think i will sit on the sidelines. | oregano
30/3/2007 16:26 | Been a bit of activity here today for a change, hope there is some news soon. Still hanging on in for the moment. | robleetoon

28/3/2007 10:15 | I think mainly lack of news. But I don't think Ofcom reducing mobile termination charges will help their cause: That may be a factor too - but i'm guessing. | ashleighp

15/12/2006 16:08 | Think you might be wrong Oregano! | dubbsie
15/12/2006 15:24 | not yet cheap enough to buy, so it will probably carry on falling. the company has pumped out the most positive interpretation of a poor situation. someone sold a slug a few weeks ago at 40p, they may have more to sell and that's all they could get for them, so it represents a reasonable target. | oregano
15/12/2006 13:59 | No where near dead. Read the results. | dubbsie
