Well that's my votes for takeover gone in.

The question is what to do with the funds when they appear.
There aren't so many good value options like ADT on the AIM market.

No I think it's offer on. I think they'll get 75% of the vote.

If 80% of share vote and you have to get 75% then you have to get 60% of total shares to vote yes to win.

If 90% of share vote and you have to get 75% then you have to get 67.5% of total shares to vote yes to win.

So I expect them to win the vote as does the market if the rising price is to be judged.

I think I saw an RNS saying they had bought just over 1%.

By a scheme of arrangement they have to get 75% of the vote I believe and not all shares are going to vote.

Sure that is right RedGuess thought Bidco would have secured more than 56 now as a result of market purchases Been some big prints past few days A very small part of me just wonders if there is a potential twist in the tale yet to emerge

That 56.6 figure hasn't changed, but the way the share price is rising would seem to indicate the market is confident it will complete.

100% done deal. Macquarie are bring aggressive in the market and using Wavenet as the vehicle to build a tech services platform. ADT has made itself a sitting duck , there will be a lovely deal bonus for the directors, of that you can be assured.

The debt brought the shares down to a ludicrously low valuation if it was a risk of sorts. To offer basically double I felt would be sufficient which is what is on the table.A counter bid would be welcome - better still then a bidding war to take it higher.I suspect this will succeed though and agree with Red.

It's probably opportunistic, but with fears of recession, looks like the funds and other major holders have gone for it.

They have irrevocable support around 53% plus 3% non binding support should probably see them home and dry.

Is that really a good deal for shareholders though?

Revenues have doubled in the last five years & forecast eps for the year to 31st March means it leaves the market on a single digit p/e of around eight☹️ The shares were £3.20 in late May 2021 so is this really a good exit or opportunistic ??
