These things are often leaked in Canada and by the time the news comes out officially, the share price rise has already happened. But in this case the share price shows no sign of this IMO. Mystified really - oilers with no news doing better today in the UK market than Addax has with v strong news.

"The Njaba discovery was consistent with pre-drill estimates having encountered
four oil bearing reservoirs totaling 289 feet of gross oil column, including the
two main individual gross columns of 149 feet and 115 feet of between 20 and 28
API at depths from 990 to 1,050 metres. Production from the Njaba discovery can
be readily tied in as the Corporation has existing production facilities and
infrastructure in the OML124 license area. Addax Petroleum continues to drill
into secondary, lower sections relative to the newly discovered oil bearing
intervals and plans to carry out a test of the main reservoirs. The Corporation
also plans to drill an additional appraisal well down-dip of the discovery which
may further enhance the recoverable reserves from Njaba. "

Slow response so far. Suprising given they have discovered a gross oil column of 289 feet in an area undrilled since the mid 80's. Most of the column is in the 2 sections of 149 feet and 115 feet.

Will Addax aquire Bowleven ?



Bowleven will seek approval to issue up to 250,000,000 new ordinary shares at an extraordinary meeting following the general meeting on December 11. Last month, Hart declined to comment on speculation that a rival, Addax, might bid for the company.

yes indeed kiwi, i was siiting on losses for a few days, and the spread is just rridiculous, but, the share price is a tenner now.. so happy enough...

some drop on the chart above eh!

another near 20% rise on the canadian market tonight looks good for monday....s superb co that doesnt seem to be popular over here....i dont know why...regards

Not sure if it's so unbelievable if one compare ADDAX's share price and $WTIC see iBox on this link

Anyway we could see a substancial rise tomorrow as ADDAX closed up $ 14.12
Change £ 1.78 (14.42%) friday in Toronto.

Yes it's looking more ugly every day. ADDAX followed the DOW after 2PM EST, wonder how long this can go on?
AXC is now at a quarter of what is was this summer.
