Acquisition of "Rizikon"

That's the Rizikon product from the administration of Crossword Cybersecurity plc.

Not to be confused with Rizikon Risk Management Solutions, part of the FDI Group hxxps://rizikon.net/about-us/

It all sounds good in the RNS. But is Mr Rajakovich going to help Acuity sell more, more quickly. At this stage, nothing matters more than that, does it?

A new >3% holder has surfaced according to the RNS TR-1 today. Robert John Barker with 6,000,000 shares.

Is there any particular background that he has that makes his interest in the company especially significant?

Those who subscribed for the 3.5p shares in the placement may well be wondering when (if?) they will break even.

Half Year 2024 report published today

Not much in there to get excited about.

Lost £100k per month over the half year. Has £1.855m in the bank, so decent runway. But I remember the Chairman saying (in early Dec 2023) he expected the company to be cash generative by the end of Q2 2024 and profitable by the end of 2024.

I'm told that there's a backlog at Companies House and some companies who submitted their accounts before 30.6 were, or are still, showing as overdue.

Don't know if that's true or if it even applies to ACRM

plc accounts filed 15 July 2024

hopefully the new CFO and the new adviser keep on top of such things from here

At the time of writing (12 July 2024), the plc is late in filing its accounts at Companies House (due 30 June 2024).

Not the end of the world by any means, but this sort of sloppy administration simply should not happen at this level.

the agm statement is, of course, upbeat

but it appears to me that the market still needs to shake off the urgently executed £1m fundraise before it will reward forecasts of jam tomorrow

The company can be cash generative and still require a raise.

But, for me, that is dancing on the head of a pin.

That coupled with the underwhelming details of the storm product and the lack of ££ numbers in the last couple of recent rns announcements is starting to add up to a picture less rosy than the one painted publicly by chair and ceo.

There are still a lot of positives in this one, but the board is not really doing a good job of being in charge of a listed company imo. Managing being listed is very different to managing the company.

I just hope it is nothing more than some of them being new to being a "tech" plc

"expects the company to be cash generative by the end of Q2 2024"An old quote from jpjp. Yeah, they've generated cash.

So a fund raise is needed after all.

Not the best situation imo

I would have liked to see the audited results published to help inform the decision on whether to participate
