Posted at 11/11/2023 08:56 by quietlife I think things will become clearer as we move forwardAcuity was previously a private company and had different reporting periods to DRUM I think 2024 will become much clearer With the RTO deal done at 6.5p and the owners prepared for funds to be raised at 4.5p and with huge skin in the game I can’t see any funding done at this level. As you say it’s great to see new investors putting cash into this |
Posted at 11/11/2023 08:47 by jpjp100 I like to see new investors putting their own hard earned money up to buy shares. One of the most important milestones for me right now is that the company needs to report making some money and a positive cashflow. In the last half year report, it looked as if was on track to do that. The acquired business seemed to be almost there pre acquisition and the sales pipeline was said to be £4.2m. But I want to see it done and reported in black & white on a piece of paper with an auditor's signature on it. Without that, the need to raise more money could be hovering in the background. I wouldn't want to see a rights issue or similar with the share price down here. |
Posted at 11/11/2023 08:10 by quietlife So we have 56% of the share register owned by 8 investors who are either BOD’s, TR1 holders or original owners of acuity pre RTOFormer TR1 holders / connections pre RTO will have about another 7% so the free float is minimal. Illiquid shares drift on low volume but like wise move up quickly on news/buyers. Good volume yesterday with 2% of the shares traded. Ticked up going into close suggesting any book stock has been moved on during the day. Constant flow of contracts and incremental increases in revenue in a fabulous sector makes this a great investment opportunity imo. Always good to see directors and owners with lots of skin in the game. |
