11/2/2019 10:21 | Probably because the Market isn't happy with that as is being amply illustrated by the recent price action! Listen, I'm a stalwart supporter of this company and have been since c2008, but even I think they could and should be more proactive.spud | spud
11/2/2019 10:19 | loonies like Black Rock ? they have about 5% left ....to sell ? gonna take a while & clearly no other insti has rung them up and begged to buy that 5% (or prev. 6%) or there would be 2RNSs....sell & buy.. | smithie6
11/2/2019 10:16 | Loonies out in full force..capitulation. | tsmith2
11/2/2019 10:16 | eh. no they wont write off all tang. assets ! if t.a. are 160M & half value of product X 16M write down then its a 16M reduction in PBT but the amortisation only changes by 10% peanuts. amortise 144M & not 160M | smithie6
11/2/2019 10:16 | The company has already just put out a trading statement saying results broadly in line, healthy start to year etc - why would they need to talk numbers ahead of the results. Seems to me they are relaxed about things and not overly fussed by short term movement in share price..have added. | tsmith2
11/2/2019 10:12 | At least a write down will mean a one off hit and then improved results next year due to no amortisation. As stated by other - focus on the cash flow and these issues are largely irrelevant accounting adjustments. | bonio10000
11/2/2019 10:12 | glad I stayed away from this at its previous high price....I didnt like the high valuation (recently Ive bt some HAT low p/e (<10) & good asset backing of the sp ( a lot of that being cash out on loan at high % to the public..so dependant on loans being paid back to HAT over the loan periods.. & over last 10 yrs its paid back 1/3 of current share price via real divis & now pays ~3% divi ie. generates real cash) | smithie6
11/2/2019 10:09 | What I have been told is the company are not discussing numbers with anyone. So its just radio silence until results next month. I guess that really doesn't help anyone and just lets the situation fester. It seems totally uninvestable until you see the new numbers and what they have or haven't done with capitalising of development costs. | horndean eagle
11/2/2019 10:06 | Eezymunny £6.6M cash generated after tax similar type of number to what I posted on Friday but should you not then deduct the finance cost ~2M$ I think I recallu or say £1.5M your 6.6M£ cash generation then falls to ~£5.1M ..lets say £5M ...we both agree that over £ 200M for that sort of cash generation looks expensive. ---- I posted that I predict/expect intangibles to be written down...eg. Qbot now looks old tech phps ? and being replaced now at some parks by new Acso stuff & 1 acqn. had its deferred payment at less than the max.....reduce its value ?? & new finance info....makes me think they are looking at perf. & inherently that means intang. values wld be direct redn of reported profit ...& any write downs wont impress instis who stumped up millions for past acquisitions...if then co. declares that worth less... | smithie6
11/2/2019 09:50 | Leadership is NOW needed and an RNS to steady the share price. Otherwise, by simple projection, this could be a penny share by next week | togglebrush
11/2/2019 09:46 | As I have said, this is heading lower IMO | qs99
11/2/2019 09:26 | You keep missing the word broadly out when saying inline with expectations | traderglt
11/2/2019 09:20 | Someone lucky investor sold 10,000 at 841p at 8.05am today.Saved himself 10,000 pounds. | montyhedge
11/2/2019 09:07 | why is the share price in free fall? | ali47fish
11/2/2019 09:06 | To be fair, this must of been the biggest all time stock market gainer. From 6p to 2900p. That is some rise. | montyhedge
11/2/2019 09:03 | Possibly. we should get another holding statement imminently if they are | tsmith2
11/2/2019 09:01 | Is it Blackrock reducing their position? | montyhedge
11/2/2019 08:56 | What do you mean by link? I've posted it. I don't have a link to their website with it on. | tsmith2
11/2/2019 08:55 | sorry there is no link | ali47fish
11/2/2019 08:54 | ts smith can you please provide the link to peel hunt's comments | ali47fish
11/2/2019 08:49 | the crash in share price is not good for the growth strategy of acquisition any acquisition is now 3-4 times as expensive since normally funded via shares ! & of course the institutions might now refuse to subscribe for new shares at any price since trust seems to have been completely broken ---- ..the star exec chair suddenly steeping aside ...there is a real story pushing that to happen...imo | smithie6
