Posted at 10/8/2023 08:57 by olliemagern Ex dividend today.Todays 3.3p dividend gives 5p for the year, indicates the assets are of good quality and robust. |
Posted at 12/4/2023 11:00 by olliemagern I have bought ASIT at 71p, with 15 months left.If wind up net assets are 74p plus around 7.8p dividends, total net return should be 14%. Plus or minus FTSE mid and small movement and 1.4 times gearing. If market falls 10% only breakeven, if market rises 10% make 28%. Looks a win/win. |
Posted at 10/4/2021 10:26 by brucek1812 Big jump today. Not so surprising given the discount and ASL gains - ASIT has lagged and resumption of dividends by uk companies and gearing structure of ASIT should help to narrow discount further |
Posted at 05/12/2020 09:53 by skwas1 Hi all, any idea why ASL has outperformed ASIT over the last month (40% vs 23%). Considering the increased gearing of ASIT i fund this surprising. Thanks |
