31/1/2018 12:25 | Zaf has previously stated in interviews that the company strategy is not to seek dividends. The strategy is purely for shareholders to benefit from the sp, not from re-distribution. Remember Brian, only a small number of investors, those who work in retail and friends of GP's in Surrey know about VS, and people in Key West, and people in the States who may have a nibble in the afternoon. Oh and the 501 people who have watched yesterdays interview. | soupdragon55
31/1/2018 12:09 | I strongly agree with your synopsis prof. I truly hope that Zaf has the same priority's as his small shareholders, many of whom unlike him don't have an unlimited supply of free warrants on tap and an inexhaustible expense account to draw on together with a salary that a footsie 250 company director would find acceptable! | brian boru
31/1/2018 11:12 | Hi Brian, and good morning to you. It's difficult to tell. I actually must disagree re Zaf. I think he's playing things very cool indeed, and as yesterday's interview showed, he's not one for bragging or shouting out loud (perhaps a bit more shouting would help the cause!). VS are obviously a growth story, and as far as I know there is no pre-determined "exit plan". In fact, after the float, which I think may come a lot sooner than many think, after we've bagged some more nice juicy big contracts here and some overseas, it would be good to think of them as maybe paying dividends from 2020/21 onwards. This would be a nice cash flow for LEG, and maybe there is a chance it will be distributed to shareholders. Tons of things happening on the quiet, but also tons of things to do and sort out before a float can happen. One thing is for sure though, the growth track that VS have embarked on will surprise many, and as the podcast noted will eventually be reflected in a re-rated value of LEG. Personally, I have no qualms about Zaf's stewardship of LEG. Eventually he will be proved right in my view. | professor pettigrew
31/1/2018 11:12 | I was down in the keys early last year, that's where I'm going for my retirement with my LEG proceeds!! | gbenson1
31/1/2018 11:06 | Well, I did my bit last night gb1 by sending a link of the podcast and YouTube interview, plus details of VS to my friends in Key West. They are pretty well-heeled, but also well connected, so if any of their friends and neighbours have an interest in the markets, they may just have a nibble. Every little helps. | professor pettigrew
31/1/2018 10:49 | You beat me too it Gotto, lots of positive news, if word got out over the pond I believe we would see a nice tick up. | gbenson1
31/1/2018 10:43 | Lumpy buys | gottopickapocketortwo
31/1/2018 10:42 | Interesting that both LEG and AMED are up today. Worth noting then, that LEG own 192,307 shares in AMED (adjusted post 100:1 AMED consolidation). Current value obviously very small, but once the Explorer-1 jackup rig is delivered to Keppel's client, I am expecting the AMED share price to be at least 10x higher. Value of that order is $170m. I own both AMED and LEG. | howdlep |
