18/11/2017 21:53 | Thanks PP, Scarbados for the 0.5p party would be perfect! | ![]() lendmeafiver
18/11/2017 21:41 | York? Er, no. The in-laws lived in Scarborough. Every time we came off the old A1 and went past the Tadcaster Brewery, I felt myself freezing. But, fear not. No, minimum holding for the 1p party next year lend. You will be more than welcome, believe me. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 21:39 | Well I will never get anywhere near that level PP, I’m too risk adverse, can you do a 0.5p party in York for shareholders with more modest holdings?! | ![]() lendmeafiver
18/11/2017 21:31 | Sensible lend, but a few million extra will see you in good stead. Of that, I'm sure. Had a couple of small nibbles last week, now 66,239,004. Looking to top up to 70m next week. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 21:25 | Always try to avoid putting all my eggs in one basket PP, been burnt by tech related investments in the past so won’t be going “all in” | ![]() lendmeafiver
18/11/2017 21:08 | You will have to, of course, massively increase your interest in LEG stock to qualify. 1p+ by next September? Everyone could 7-bag from here on in. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 21:04 | Give it 12 months lend. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 20:40 | I don’t doubt the potential in IBS, but it will of course take time and the shareholding should have been 40%+ not 12% in my view particularly given LEG pay a salary and expenses to source deals. | ![]() lendmeafiver
18/11/2017 20:30 | The pressure is on here. Whoever is the lucky poster to post the 10,000th message, has to buy 1m LEG to celebrate. By then, I reckon we'll have breached at least 0.2p. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 20:22 | Lend, every company must have a starting point regarding valuation. It's incredibly bullish that "seed investors" and others have put up enough to give IBS a starting value of US$10m. I'm not up to speed with the USD/NZD exchange rate, but it must be at least 2:1 or more, so when they get the licences and permissions through (in the next two weeks or so I'm told), they'll have around NZD20-25m to get going. IBS are going to be MASSIVE. Read Anton85's post from a few days back. Honestly, VS are now beginning to mature and will look after themselves and grow naturally. IBS could really be the new "Kid on the Block". | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 20:12 | I was already assuming that all VS contracts will ultimately be profitable, but they certainly need further contract wins if they are going to justify a £250m+ IPO in the next 12 months, fingers crossed. As you know PP I’m not overly impressed by IBS, I think the shareholding should have been something more like 40%+ leg in my view and the recent valuation RNS is all a bit unnecessary I think, how can a start up that hasn’t started trading yet be worth 10m overnight, of course fast forward 2 or 3 years it might be worth that or much more but at 11% Leg none of us here are going to get hugely wealthy off the back of it. | ![]() lendmeafiver
18/11/2017 20:11 | There will, of course, be categories at the 1p+ party. The group invited will be small and select, so everyone will win a prize. Currently, the categories are:- UBER BULL UBER BEAR DOUBTING THOMAS I CAN'T BELIEVE WE'VE BREACHED 1P ........and finally:- LEG GOING OVER 1P HAS CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER AND I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO PP. Nominations close at 0.99p. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 20:02 | They will soup. Have faith. You could be the dark horse presenter at the 1p+ party. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 19:54 | Not so fussed about new contracts, I want to see them make money from those they already have. They've had a contract with Tesco for a number of years, needless to say with Tesco being the biggest retailer by far in the Uk if they can't make money from that then what can they do.Said for a long time now, VS are in the 'show me' stage now. We know they can sign a contract, now they have to deliver. | ![]() soupdragon55
18/11/2017 19:53 | I suggest any doubters scroll back and read anton85's post re IBS from the other day. Then go in big time with large tranches of LEG stock. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 19:49 | Yup - and the dramatic exponential growth in IBS once they start. Remember lend, 11-12% of all income is ours. Could even be enough one day to pay a dividend. People will laugh and scoff, but from little acorns, mighty oaks grow and develop. I find being optimistic is far better in life than being pessimistic. So, no. It's not ALL about VS contracts lend, IBS will have a massive say in the future value of LEG going forward. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 19:35 | All about VS contract wins now PP | ![]() lendmeafiver
18/11/2017 19:26 | It's a comforting thought to know that Bruce Rowan holds 8% of the entire share capital of LEG. Zaf owns 37% of IBS and Nick Jenkins, the Moonpig founder, has a stake in VS. All in all, LEG are on a three way winner, and are so undervalued it's unreal. Wait until the re-rate starts. | ![]() professor pettigrew
18/11/2017 18:27 | Millwall supporters came into our Durham pub 10 minutes ago. They're all dead now. | ![]() chinese investor
18/11/2017 16:41 | Virtualstock with a first-class list of retail clients. Virtualstock in the running for an award in 11 days time at the Amazon Growing Business Award Ceremony in London. A 14.3m buy a few weeks ago. A 7.1m buy this week. 11-12% of IBS, and exciting new financial company in New Zealand with big ambitions, currently valued at US$10m - Zaf has a personal 37% stake so will ensure it is a success. Roll-out of "The Edge" to come to the rest of the NHS eventually. VS "currently talking to other retailers" re usage of "The Edge. Notion Capital take a £4m stake in VS. VS telegraph "ambitions for overseas expansion". VS plan a "possible IPO on NASDAQ in 2018" ................and we are valued at precisely £4,150,000? The market is having a laugh, but not for long. | ![]() professor pettigrew |
