We know sid - but VS are now making profits. The loss for the last accounting period was minimal, and they've had John Lewis to add since then.

Many will scoff at my 1p forecast within a year, but think what is coming for LEG. Not just everything that's happening at VS, but other irons in the fire.

I have very high hopes for IBS too.

Let's wait and see. Within 12 months we will see that golden one penny per share.

Well they clearly like it.

First time I've seen a mention of revenues...being several million this year.

All good points, I would add if you are investing £4.5mln you would have a good look at the books also you future expansion plans. I would say the NHS deal is going to propel vs into the big league. Currently all direction is pointing to VS being valued at over £100mln so LEGs MC is way off the mark the share price should be around .25 IMHO

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree on all that then sid.

No doubt the losers thread is a tad more sympathetic to your view on glasses, whether they be full, half-full, or totally empty.

As I said the other week, let's give it all a whole clean 12 months from now, and see what the share price is come mid-August 2018.

My view is that we will see 1p here sometime between now and then, giving LEG an mcap in the region of around £30m.

As always, your glass is totally full! I always prefer to look at my investments from a glass half empty perspective, with a small leak at the bottom.

If I had been a director for several years, and knew there was a good chance of an IPO that would turn my zero investment into one of a few million within a year, would I sell now? Only if I had genuine concerns.

As for doubling the size of VS, I actually find that a very low target. Tech companies should be targetting 10 fold plus increases in the size of the company. If VS only doubled revenues this year, I very much doubt it would still command a 66mln valuation.

I dont know much about the other assets, except this new NZ venture, which we have discussed.

As for everyone agreeing that LEG is undervalued, on what basis do you say that? On this thread that might be true. On the cold hard reality of the share price, not so.

I agree with the last bit. Notion putting in money is very positive, and putting their bod on the board is encouraging too. It is all about whether VS can gain further traction in Europe, and some in the USA. It is exceptionally difficult for small companies to get into the multinationals, and harder still to monetise it profitably. That challenge will determine whether VS becomes a big tech comnpany or one with a great product that couldnt make a profitable business out of it, like Groupon, Twitter and to a certain degree, Amazon.

sid - we don[t know the reason. It is all conjecture. The outlook for VS is even more bullish than it was a month ago.

An IPO in the US?
Expansion into the US?
A statement from the board they intend to "double the size of VS" in short order.

An exceptionally bullish view going forward for VS.

Oh, and don't forget our other assets too.

Everybody agrees LEG are deeply undervalued at the current share price Just on the Notion deal we should be around 0.16p or so. As I said yesterday, Beaufort continue to value VS at up to four times the current accepted level.

I think it's fairly obvious that something very big is going on behind the scenes, and the next RNS regarding VS will light the blue touch paper here.

The VS directors selling, on the surface, is not a positive.

However, many directors see a 100%+ profit, or whatever it is, and prefer cash in the bank. A classic example of this is one of the 3 co founders of Apple, who was pleased at the time to sell his stake to Steve Jobs for about $1mln.

That stake now would be worth nearly $300bln, so it could be argued that he was a tad premature.

I still feel leg and notion know vs will float very soon. This way they will both make a quick return on their investment and still keep a decent % what if the foat did value vs @£250ml leg could easly sell what they have just brought and have plenty of cash to ether give back or reinvest what would that do for the sp

Good morning all, and good luck to all genuine holders.

Whilst soupdragon's comments may stand up to scrutiny, I find it difficult to think that Notion would not want a reasonably fast decent return on the whole £4.5m they have invested in VS.

If indeed £2.6m has gone to two directors that money may be used to expand VS and prepare for their assault on the US market.

It doesn't necessarily follow that because two directors have sold stock to Notion that they are both going on a world cruise with the funds.

Not far off results here, or news regarding VS I imagine.

Welcome to the "blue" world CI.

Presumably you are going to show that you are a mature individual with sensible comments.

You are welcome to post here, as long as it's not inflammatory.

You try to wreck this thread, and I'll destroy all of yours.

Sam the man, in response to your posting on the other forum.
The key item you need to look at is Resolution 1 item (ii)
Item (ii) is the directors transferring 260,000 VS shares to Notion.
So, we know they bought 190,000 new shares for £10 each, the above shows they bought 260,000 from the directors for £10 each taking the cost to £4.5m which matches the reported investment.
Essentially, its £1.9m going into the business and £2.6m going to 2 directors.

Beaufort are a large shareholder in LEG, and the house broker.

I think their figures are somewhat biased. Is there a more balanced and objective research report on the company?

I don’t really understand Resolution 1 and the rest of the filing seems to be just standard rules and regs.

Only 190,000 VS extra shares have been formally issued since Oct 2016

I believe Notion took those and at a value of £10 a share that leaves them £2.6m short on their £4.5m investment. So, they are due either another 260,000 shares or a return of their £2.6m.

Will the 260,000 come from 1,188,943 as a warrant?

Have or will VS directors Ingram and Bradley give some of their shares to Notion and, if so, what will they get in return?

VS director Harrison resigned earlier this year what happened to his 2% shares?

Where did LEG’s 0.4% (27,000 shares) come from?

How many VS shares have been issued as of today?

VS have a history of swapping shares amongst themselves so I suppose I'll have to wait for more info before I get those questions answered.🍉

Phew! It's a tad long-winded and I don't profess to understand quite a bit of it, but all looks well.

See Notion have a call option as well, that's interesting as they could increase their stake in VS at some stage.

Lots going on behind the scenes methinks.

The link I mentioned last week is now available to read.

Too early and too busy to digest for me so I'll leave it for more intelligent on here to decipher.

Pretty low key here at the moment, with minimal interest awaiting more news, so unless anything breaks later today, have a good weekend y'all and catch you Monday morning.
