It does look to me that vs is an obvious choice for Nhs and they can pay out of future savings as the articles say

Morning all.

Blue skies this morning, but probably not blue skies here yet.

Life's a yawn here for the moment, yesterday's pathetic volume shows that interest has fallen away, but hope springs eternal, we know there is positive news in the pipeline (thanks to RTW1's immaculate research), but for now going to take a break from the board.

Away for the weekend anyway, back on Tuesday morning.

Have a good one all and best of luck.

I think we will start moving up on the slightest bit of buying pressure .

Agreed tini5.

Re Poole, if they go down by more than 12 points at Wolverhampton on Monday evening, then their season is over.

So, you may have to wait until next Mar/Apr now for a jaunt down Wimborne Road!

lol prof, I can't remember how much it was back then, Dad paid anyway. Yes, I seem to remember they had a troubled period during the 80s.

The folks live down South still but I had to move away for work unfortunately but yes, I'll try and make a point of revisiting memory lane if I'm down that way on a Wednesday.

No movement on LEG today but don't think we'll see much activity until just before or after the AGM.

Ah, right. Well I was running Wimbledon at the time and I remember Steve Schofield coming to Plough Lane. Nice guy. Then 20 years later he fitted me a new boiler!

Small world.

You missed the golden days of the late 60's/early 70's. The place used to be packed every Wednesday night, between 10-12,000 there. I remember being on holiday in Bournemouth in 1970 and my team, West Ham, were riding there. I was with a friend and we caught the bus to Poole arriving about 10 minutes before the start, and we couldn't get in. The "House Full" signs were up.

Also, there was a character there who used to be called "Solider Boy". He used to walk round the stadium with a bugle, and every time Poole won a race he'd blow it.

Happy days! If you live reasonably near a track, you should pay a visit for old times sake. There's been a lot of changes. It's a lot faster now for a start. Oh, and it's not £3 to get in anymore. More like £20.

It was in the mid 80s if I remember rightly. I was only around 7 at the time so memories are a little hazy.

Are the Poole Pirates still going? My old man used to take me to see them when I was a kid.

Phil - no, watching the speedway!

To say it's quiet for LEG today is a massive understatement.

Where are the buyers and sellers?

Morning all.

Can't see anything to move the price much either way today, so it's just a question of waiting now.

RTW1 has shown the way here with some first-class research and comment. For now, we should be content with holding above 0.175p, going forward however a completely different story.
