02/3/2016 09:57 | Sometimes its seems that the MD's of these PLC's are not quite as on the ball as you would think they are.This is of course a personal view looking from the outside in.I have looked at the turnover,profit,debt etc of William Hill.Turnover as of 31/12/15 £1.59 billion, profit 184m, debt 800m plus. Market cap £3.6 billion currently.Market cap of Paddy Power-Betfair currently over £10 billion.Then we have 888.com. Turnover upto 31/12/14 £454m, Profit £67m, sorry can't remember debt,but not that much, Market Cap £640m. Results due soon maybe Turnover £500m Profit £75m. 888.com are one of the most advanced online gaming companies in the world, a very high quality company.What on earth is the MD of William Hill waiting fore, £3 a share maybe a bit rich but £2.50-£2 | fitton | |
