13/7/2017 11:45 | Washroom gossip from NYC. After the failed P&D attempt by the NY raiders, there could be a number closing positions. Much chatter about taking shorts, as a free fall to 0.7 expected. Why? Well most now asking why have the other oilers moved north, why is Wall not communicating, why is icewine 3 really a serious consideration and why did Wall take a big pay rise as oppose to more options. Could ice wine 3 super dilute the base further and keep salaries flowing until Spring next year. People need oil not water and salaries as one succinctly put it. If you've lost cash, why not recoup with a short, or consider buying when this has halved? You pay your money and you take your chance. That's the washroom gossip team. | beltd

12/7/2017 17:43 | BeLend filtered another expert, don't get me wrong there might not be any oil, there might be oil and hard to extract, there might be oil and it's not commercial, there might be commercial oil and there could be a lot of oil any of these scenarios are probable. 12/7/2017 16:48 | Just fly by the seat of their pants traders I overheard, so hearsay. I sold out after riding what I suspect is a dead cat bounce. There's no oil, Wall knows that's why the other oilers packed up and went north. He knows that now people say | beltd
12/7/2017 13:39 | BELtd,Being in NY, doesn't necessarily give the person a huge edge when it comes to information about this company. Can you be more specific about those murmurs, or is it the case you are simply trying to initiate some? | rafieh
12/7/2017 12:27 | Oil rises through water and will settle on top. When they began testing the upper zone they encountered "trace" hydrocarbon. Trace hydrocarbon has been absent so far from the lower zone including co mingling with the upper. The upper and lower zones are interconnected naturally and they have implied there is in situ salt water coming since testing in the lower zone. My guess is that most oil migrated away and degraded or lithified years ago and has largely been replaced with water. Any oil remaining has migrated to the upper level via natural connections to be replaced with salt water below and possibly in the upper zone on a worse case basis. Its all guess work but i would have felt more inspired if they had contuinued to detect and report even trace hydrocarbon when they broke through to the lower zone. I think the lower zone could be nothing but water and the question now might be how much if any moveable hydrocarbon is left in the upper zone. They might have drilled the right place but several million years too late. All imo. | deccer1
12/7/2017 12:17 | Well it's funny to see you Brits bickering away! Must be a sense of humour thing. We are arriving at work in NY and I can assure you there's been some positive murmurs and nattering, so if you are sat on your hands waiting to buy get yourself to the front of the queue. :-) | beltd
12/7/2017 12:08 | Herschel My interpretation is by "in situ" they mean that reservoir fluid that was in place prior to stimulation, hence it could be a reservoir of salt water. | deccer1

12/7/2017 11:45 | Those individuals who have a very limited understanding of what is actually happening here have a glorious opportunity over the next 5.5 weeks to do some research. That might be preferable to posting stuff which bares no resemblance to the facts. | ride daice |
