A barrel of oil contains 159 litres and is worth say $50. A 19 litre bottle of water as used in water coolers costs approx $11 or $0.58 per litre therefore 159 litres costs $92 approx which is almost twice the price of a barrel of oil. We're rich!

Yes the saline water injected into icewine 2 will be very good value as the chemistry for the imbibing process will show.

My sell price is 12p and I expect to see that by this time next year

yep looks like its the water that they injected. This will be the same water that they then imbibe and then remove the surplus. All going to plan

Post shut in will surprise many people who have misinterpreted the news as negative. DYOR and realise that shut in's are normal with many shut in sometimes required in order to maximise recovery.

Looking strong today on this RNS, seems a lot of people may have overlooked the Trace HydroCarbons in the previous RNS.

Clearly stated in the rns. Read it again. 16% of the stimulation fluid was recovered from the combined zones prior to shut in on 10(th) July 2017, with trace hydrocarbons encountered during flowback

Are they contemplating a horizontal drill. Is that possible from IW2?

UKOG Swimming in oilAll you have to do is take note of how the majors missed the Weald. It's hydro maturity window is the opposite to what the majors thought possible. It's equal or better than that found in the North Sea. SS states this in his presentation and TW and co know this. They won't do you any favours. The majors used the model for type 2 source rock which is what they used in the NS. The Weald however is type 1 source rock which is better and this is the model SS used with modern tech the majors didn't have at the time in the 1980's.
