Pending the arrival of a new Lexus LS430, which will now be my fourth such vehicle, I wondered if anyone on here is interested in purchasing my current superb motor car?

Details are as follows:

Model: Lexus LS400 Series IV (with Satellite Navigation and Touch Screen)

Year of First Registration: 1998 January "R"

Mileage: 37,400 currently, and with Full Service History

Colour: Amethyst Pearl (kinda silver with a hint of pale mauve)

Specification: Grey Leather Seats and Grey Trim, Air Conditioning, Sunroof, Alloy Wheels, Electric Windows, Central Door Locking, Cruise Control, Electric Seats, Airbags, Stereo, On Board Computer, Alarm, Power Steering, Heated Seats, Adjustable Steering Column, CD Player, etc, all as per usual.

The garage has offered me £22,500 for it against my new vehicle. I am deliberating on this. If you were to purchase this car from a Lexus garage it would cost around £25,500 minimum (probably £26,000 asking price).

Do you want to improve on their price to me and save yourself a large amount of money into the bargain?

My e-mail is rwp@ntlworld.com and I live very close to the mid point of the M62, in Yorkshire, if you would like to take things further.

:-)

Picture postcard thatched cottage in Irelands, Sunny South East.
At 300 years old, it's a better bet than your present portfolio, and a very
relaxed place to try and salvage it.

Addo, the reputable shop from which I bought the sax, in London, told me (after I'd paid for it, so I believe them) that it had been owned by Courtney Pine. I was hoping for something like £500, but I'm open to offers. It plays perfectly well - I just have a slight preference for the Conn model that I generally play now

A lens crack will allow me to make the most of my creative abilities. Is the lens that round thing on the front? The graffiti was put on by Sony as far as I can tell from the picture. I'm not too concerned about the red eye problem as mine are blue and I don't think any of my friends have red eyes (except early on a Sunday morning). Hope the credit reached your bank. Looking forward to playing with the new toy........they're expecting you at Holland Road.

MartinC, who was the well known saxophonist please ? Roughly what sort of ball-park figure are you talking about ? I know someone who would be interested at the right price.

I heard it has a sea monster on every picture.

;-)

In fact this is what it should have said:-

Camera came out a few months ago and
retails for between £650 and £750. If you want to test it out, then pop down to
your local Dixons. Mine is a bit scratched on the lens and there is not much sea water in it now as it has been professionally cleaned. The red-eye only half works too but it isn't really a big problem.Magazines have voted it the worst Digital Camera on the market. I can email interested parties examples of it's output.I have an
extra Leclanche battery and a Sony Calico Carry-Case, which I'll chuck in for free. Cost
£100. Worldwide warranty is definitely excluded.
