01/11/2022 18:19 | I run an SME and use Google AdWords. The company spends roughly 400 a month on AdWords and they perform well enough for us. Not the most efficient but good enough. Lately, we’re being bombarded with Google AdWords advisors, calling from UK landline numbers but with strong Indian accents and clearly in call centres, wanting to optimise our account. Firstly, I don’t want Google reaching out to me. If I want their help, I’ll call them. Second, I don’t want to speak to someone based in India. I want UK help, not Indian. There are colloquialisms and UK nuances that someone based in Indian just won’t get. Thirdly, that Google want my account to be better optimised doesn’t sound like a revenue earner for them, more of a saving for me: so I’m not buying into it being a saving. Lastly, I’m not convinced these Indians are google employees; more likely agency? And yet they have access to my account??!! I can’t imagine I’m alone in this line of thinking as a business owner. If this is how Google intends to drive revenue growth (!) I can’t see it being successful. | ![]() farnesbarnes

31/10/2022 16:13 | Have to say think the yield on this getting interesting.and the pe is low for a tech . Not sure what the problems are apart from fines everywhere. Certainly looks interesting. We in the Uk have been shielded from the decline in these stocks somewhat as the pound has slid against the dollar | ![]() fidra
