23/3/2007 11:52 | Chicken Charlie, there is only you and Buzzzzzzzz saying the figures are next week. Where is the basis/fact for this assumption other than it being a blatant ramp, I think I'll hold my shares for the long term without being lied to and I'll go for the June timescale for the figures. However I must agree that they do have form for making announcements regarding results the DAY before they are released. (Sept) | ![]() alwaysbanking

23/3/2007 11:31 | Where is the announcement of results, last year as otherworld says they were mid June, why should the results be announced next week out of Sync with previous years. I have searched their website and news, events and investor information and can find no news re Figures. | ![]() alwaysbanking

23/3/2007 11:17 | No. Bought those 30k T20 at an average price of 72.84p.T3 was not far away so a profit of just under a grand was not to be sneezed at. Any idea when their results are? | ![]() geoffmanana
23/3/2007 11:16 | Other biotecs I've been in have all gone up on the announcements, and a decent step. I don't believe there is any one particular pattern to results announcements, though; they are very hard to predict as you can even have the case where seemingly good announcements can fail to meet the market's expectations, and conversely some seemingly bad announcements are not as bad as the market is expecting. It could add a nice chunk, but it certainly adds risk. Does anyone know when they are expected to be announced? | otherworld
23/3/2007 11:09 | r u out now? | 3frog
23/3/2007 10:35 | Sold 30k at 76.125p T9 this morning....just in case. | ![]() geoffmanana
22/3/2007 19:50 | When exactly are the results please? I don't know about SPA but normally shares go up prior to results in anticipation, but fall back after....why should SPA be any different, unless they have a favourable announcement of course. | ![]() geoffmanana
22/3/2007 19:21 | Buzzzzzzzzzz, "Results are next week and we might see some fun aftr that in my experience nothing normally happens before the results!" - I would agree with you 100% on this point. As you say, a little patience is required, no different than with amongst others ASM, PLE and FUM at this time. | ![]() mike111d
22/3/2007 19:14 | Do you ALL have to be spoon fed? Brokers note said company will be taken out at some stage....so have some back bone, sit on your shares and enjoy the ride! 22/3/2007 15:43 | I guess that's one in the eye. Anyone got any idea when any bids will start or is that a 'how long is a piece of string' question. | 3frog
22/3/2007 15:27 | I think it's more the recent jitters in the market keeping it more volatile than usual. Still think there's an obvious upward trend to the chart (it was only very recently that I topped up at 67p), just think we have to ease our way into the 80s rather than leap. The news perhaps was not that groundbreaking this time (second ind approved as opposed to 1st, licensed to quark with us retaining the patent...), but all a step in the right direction. | otherworld
22/3/2007 14:57 | SPA at the moment seems to be stuck in the 74p - 76p range. Even following the news earlier this week once it hit 80p a pleothara of buys brought it back down to 72 - 73 although it moves on news SPA doesn't seem to hold it. The only news that does tend to acclerate its share price is the 'takeover' rumour. I think we will be around here until the takeout. | ![]() alwaysbanking |
