15/3/2007 08:27 | It's SETSmm..... which means mm's can still manipulate the price. | tuckswood8
15/3/2007 07:31 | spa went sets days ago | doctor 69
14/3/2007 22:41 | Spa went Sets yesterday and it's already having the undesired effect on the price. No longer will you have the mm's pushing this to the moon in a day or so, it will still have it's moments but with sets things will slow down and it will be become impossible to forcast the next move unless there is a very lop sided book one way or the other. | quotes_4_u
14/3/2007 21:22 | Stich up comes to mind digger27 doesn't it? | geoffmanana
14/3/2007 20:33 | Well well the DOW ends 57 points up on the day whereas it was down 95 points when we closed causing big falls all round. Question is how much will we if anything, benefit from this turnaround. SPA was holding up well until the last couple of hours, so lets hope we get a few pence back on the share price tomorrow. Mind you I'm still nervous about those nervous yanks bless em. | digger27
14/3/2007 18:25 | Not many Americans either I suspect frog. | geoffmanana
14/3/2007 17:52 | Not many in that club today geoff. | 3frog
14/3/2007 16:22 | God bless America????????????? | geoffmanana
14/3/2007 14:29 | I think all of mine are risky plays as most of them stay put when the FTSE is motoring but they are happy to join in when it slides!! A right pack of dogs methinks. I think the reason this is holding well is because it can turn on a sixpence and there are bid rumours bubbling away just under the surface or so we are led to believe. Any sniff of a bid coming to the fore and if you are not in then you wont catch it. IMHO | digger27
14/3/2007 14:01 | Dollar has had a rise against the yen and the dow is up (very slightly) from yesterday - at least suggesting we won't have a further market drop today. Fingers and everything else crossed ;) | otherworld
14/3/2007 13:23 | I noticed the difference too. On my system the Bid & Offer prices are quoted as 73 and 73.75 respectively, yet the price is showing as 75. Therefore people sell at a bigger loss than they think, buyers get in cheaper than they think, and if you're watching the trade prices they can look like sells. I'm confused... Find the chart on this page the most helpful today. | otherworld
14/3/2007 12:43 | mmmm we may be in for a rough ride in near future....the news is all doom and gloom on US mortgage and economy side and everyone seems to have hit the sell button worldwide. This one being a risky play I would expect to take a hit....but as otherworld says we seem to be holding a fairly decent recovery. Unlike a few others of mine.! | aglenn
14/3/2007 12:12 | eye, 75 and 73.75,, strange, quote page is a bit delayed but it still doesn't tally. ps. hopefully it will show 2 pound one day. | 3frog
14/3/2007 11:53 | Any idea why the intraday chart on this page doesn't match the one on the stock quote page? I like that one better as it shows the mid price at 75p whereas this one has it below 74p. Mind you I would prefer both of them to show £2 but wouldn't we all? | digger27
14/3/2007 09:51 | Our recovery compared to other shares is impressive today. | otherworld
14/3/2007 09:33 | Aglenn I think thats the case too! | 3frog
14/3/2007 09:13 | 3frog...I have a feeling its market conditions....my whole portfolio shows red at moment | aglenn
14/3/2007 09:00 | ouch...not the best start to the day gents | aglenn
14/3/2007 08:55 | Our days of steady rises seem to be numbered. Or it may just be the general market conditions. | 3frog
14/3/2007 08:37 | Got it in one steeplejack....senti | geoffmanana
14/3/2007 08:34 | Can one presume that the fortunes of SPA are largely immnune to the vagaries of the $/yen Xrate and the worrying state of the US property market.Well, apparent | steeplejack
14/3/2007 08:11 | Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!! | geoffmanana
13/3/2007 18:19 | Off topic: Anyone know a service that will send an SMS when an RNS for a share is released? Can find plenty that will send share prices, but not one for an RNS. Thanks! | otherworld
13/3/2007 17:17 | Just seen the Dow is down 129 points,so perhaps tomorrow will be a bit more uncertain. | geoffmanana |
