Air China (601111.SH) has agreed to buy 20 A350-900 jets from Airbus SE (EADSY), the Chinese airline said Thursday.
Air China is expected to take delivery of the 20 wide-body jets between 2020 and 2022.
The 20 aircraft would cost a total of $6.54 billion at list price, but discounts of 30%-40% on list prices are common in the industry, and Air China said it would be getting a discount on the list price.
