West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSXV: WHY) announces that notwithstanding prior approval by the TSXV of the private placement announced on August 12, and extended on October 1, the private placement has expired and the Company did not close any subscriptions thereunder.
