Verena Minerals Announces Grant of Options

  Verena Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE: VML) ("Verena" or the "Company") announced today that pursuant to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange ("TSX-V"), the Company has granted 250,000 incentive stock options (the "Options") to an officer of the Company to acquire up to an aggregate of 250,000 common shares of Verena under its stock option plan. All Options are exercisable at $0.30 per share, being greater than the closing price of Verena's common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange on the date immediately preceding the grant, and expire on February 23, 2011.
