KELOWNA, BC and EDMONTON, April 27 /CNW/ - TOTAL TELCOM INC. (TSX Venture: TTZ) announced today that it's wholly owned subsidiary ROM Communications
Inc. has received approval for the ROMTraX VMS 9601 and has been placed
on the Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) VMS approved list
effective April 18, 2011. The equipment will be placed on individual
fishing boats to facilitate resource management initiatives such as
policing restricted fishing zones, catch results, species
identification and licensing.
"While ROM has worked with Fisheries & Oceans Canada for a number of
years, this approval is significant as it allows for the commercial
deployment of ROM's proprietary equipment to fisheries across Canada."

ROM Communications provides "Web to Wireless" products and services
across North America for remote control, monitoring and asset
management. ROM is an authorized airtime reseller and hardware
developer for satellite, cellular and wireless IP Networks.
