  ROYAL STANDARD MINERALS INC., "RSM" (TSX VENTURE: RSM)(OTCBB: RYSMF) has received the resignation of Mr. Mackenzie I. Watson as director and announces the resignation of Mr. Leon Walker as CFO to the Company.

Candidates are being considered to help facilitate all of the changes necessary as a means to improve upon the corporate governance of the Company going forward.
