VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jun 24, 2014) - New Zealand Energy Corp. ("NZEC" or the "Company") (TSX-VENTURE:NZ)(OTCQX:NZERF) today announced the voting results from its annual general meeting ("AGM") of shareholders held on June 23, 2014. A total of 53,822,633 common shares representing 31.5% of NZEC's issued and outstanding common shares were voted at the AGM.

Each of the nominees proposed by management was elected as a director of the Company to hold office until the next AGM, or until successors are elected or appointed:
