VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 20, 2014) - New Zealand Energy Corp. (TSX-VENTURE:NZ) (OTCQX:NZERF) ("NZEC" or the "Company") reports that it has granted 500,000 stock options exercisable at $0.45 to a Director and Officer of the Company. The options expire five years from the date of grant and vest at a rate of 25% every six months for a 24-month period.
