Northfield Capital Corp. Enter Into Agreement to Sell Northfield Glass Group Inc.

  Northfield Capital Corporation ("Northfield") (TSX VENTURE: NFD.A) announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell Northfield Glass Group Inc. ("NGG") to an arms-length third party for nominal consideration. NGG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northfield that is a window, glass and glazing company that operates in Eastern Canada and specializes in the manufacturing, sales and service of residential, industrial and commercial architectural vinyl and aluminum windows and doors, glass and mirror related products. Closing of the sale is expected to occur on September 30, 2008 and remains subject to all receipt of all required consents and approvals, including, without limitation, the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
