Immunotec Announces Grant of Options

Immunotec Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IMM), a Canadian based company and a leader in the
wellness industry (the "Company"), today announced that pursuant to the
Immunotec Stock Option Plan, 5 directors, 16 officers and employees and 1
consultant were granted options entitling them to acquire up to an aggregate of
920,000 common shares of the Corporation (the "Shares"). 


The exercise price of such options was established at $0.30, since the Board of
Directors believed that the Corporation's shares, which were trading at $0.19 on
the trading day before the grant, were undervalued. These options will vest over
a three-year period, with one-third (1/3) which will vest on each of the first,
second and third anniversaries of the date of the grant. Each option is
exercisable, once vested, for a period of five years from the date of the grant.
