Hansa Resources Ltd. ("Hansa") (TSX VENTURE:HRL)(FRANKFURT:3F2). Mr Jeff Gale, President, is pleased to announce commencement of an induced polarization (IP) survey has commenced at the Storkullen zinc - gold project in central Sweden. Storkullen is located in the Jamtland province, approximately 360 kilometres northwest of Stockholm. The exposed bedrock includes a 2.5 metre wide interval of high grade zinc-rich massive sulphide adjacent to a pyritic and siliceous felsic gneiss. The northeastern contact of the zinc-rich massive sulphide is exposed in the outcrop, where it lies adjacent to the siliceous gneiss. In addition to the very high zinc grades, high grade gold was analysed from the siliceous gneiss, emphasizing the precious metal potential of the mineralized outcrop and surrounding claims. The massive sulphide mineralization is open on the southwestern, northwestern and southeastern contacts, where mineralization passes under thin soil cover. The IP survey is being undertaken by Geonova Consulting AB using a time domain system and a 50m dipole - dipole array. The survey will centre on the discovery outcrop found by Harriet Svensson and Siv Wiik during the 2007 Mineral Hunt and covers approximately 1000m along strike for 10 line kilometers. It is being conducted to test the strike and depth extent of any sulphide mineralization and to help define drill targets for this autumns drill program. Mr Gale states, "We are hoping this geophysical survey will define the geometry and extent of any mineralization system around the discovery outcrop at the Storkullen prospect. We are pleased to have the survey commencing so shortly after the signing of the agreement and we are looking forward to having results available soon to apply the knowledge to the rest of our large land holding in this highly prospective and untested region."
