Guyana Precious Metals announces the grant of stock options

TORONTO, April 29 /CNW/ -- 
TORONTO, April 29 /CNW/ - Guyana Precious Metals Inc. (TSX-V: GPM) (the
 "Company") announces that it has granted effective April 28, 2011 an aggregate
 of 500,000 options to a director of the Company with such options being
 exercisable until April 28, 2016 at an exercise price of $0.24. The
 options vest as 25% immediately and 25% after 6, 12 and 18 months from
 date of grant.


Guyana Precious Metals Inc. is a Canadian based exploration and
 development company focusing on acquiring gold properties in the Guiana
 Shield as described in the press release dated April 26, 2011. The
 Company presently controls and holds the Coppermine River Project,
 Nunavut Territory, Canada and the Rory Claims, Yukon Territory, Canada.
 Both of these projects are described as
 Copper-Nickel-Platinum-Palladium prospects.
