Guyana Precious Metals Inc. Announces Closing of Private Placement Financing to Raise $350,000

 TORONTO, Sept. 13, 2012 /CNW/ - Guyana Precious Metals Inc.   (the "Company" or "GPM") is pleased to announce that it has closed its  previously announced non-brokered private placement (the "Offering")  pursuant to which it has issued an aggregate of 4,666,668 Common  Shares("Shares") at a price of $0.075 per Share, to raise aggregate  gross proceeds of approximately $350,000. 

 All of the securities issued in connection with the Offering are subject  to a statutory hold period expiring on January 14, 2013. The Offering  remains subject to the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
