Falcon Gold Corp. Continues to Move Toward Previously Announced Acquisition of Templer Gold Corp. and Its Silver Bell Mine Pr...

Falcon Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:FG), ("Falcon" or the "Company") previously by
press release dated February 29, 2012 announced that it had entered into a
Letter of Intent ("LOI") with Templer Gold Corp. ("Templer"), a private British
Columbia company, which through its wholly owned US subsidiary controls a 100%
interest in the Washington Silver Property. The Washington Silver Property
consists of the Silver Bell mining lease and 51 unpatented mining claims located
in Washington State.


The Company also announced in the same press release that it was effecting a
private placement financing of up to $750,000. Use of proceeds will be for
working capital purposes, and a first phase exploration program on the
Washington Silver Property project. The private placement is expected to close
contemporaneously with the acquisition of the shares of Templer.


Falcon advises that the transactions continue to move forward expects to close
on the acquisition of Templer and the private placement.


These transactions are subject to the completion of definitive agreements,
Templer shareholder approval and TSX Venture Exchange approval.
